I need advice on when to BD since what we have been doing doesn't work.

Ok last night i got two of the same color lines on my opk. Which they say is a positive. So we BDed. Well this morning i had 1 line way darker then the control line. Which is a beautiful positive. I seem to always get two beautiful positives in a row So should i BD again tonight and then again tomorrow night(if i get another positive tomorrow)?

Good question!!! Well........I think BDing before you O may be better so the sperms will be up there ready and waiting. Cause hte egg lives for I belive 12 hours after ovulation. If you BD too later then you miss out. Timing is crucial I think I'd just BD today, see what your OPK says tomorrow, but they do say too much can be bad too.

Do you happen to check your cervical mucus? I would recommend checking, especially if you just got 2 +s. (if you don't know what to look for, it looks like egg whites, clear, maybe cloudy and stretchy globby things. I always go off my CM since that shows when you are most fertile. When I see that we always BD ASAP Good luck girl! Hope this helped!

This cycle we started bding the day before the +opk and everyday after that for 4 days I hope it works

I agree with Linds. That is one of the first questions my OBGYN asked when I told her we use OPKs. She wanted to make sure that we were BDing before and the one or two days after. Definitely right before you get a pos. she said. She also told me not to keep testing once you get the first pos. Hope that helps
