I just want to say that I have never seen a second line, a plus sign, or a pregnant. I feel so frustrated with the whole TTC process because I feel like the first testing we need to do is an anatomy check.
Uterus--check
Ovaries--check
Cervix-- check
Fallopian tubes-- check
Eggs-- check
I mean, you can do a glucose tolerance test, but what does that tell you. Then, once they finally start doing some investingating (after a year), it all happens in little spurts from month to month. I already feel like even though the DH is awesome, he does not really feel the way I feel. Now I have to go to these appt alone. Every time I worry they are going to tell me that something is wrong. Then I wish that if they were going to that they would just hurry up and do it, so I can fix it or move on to adoption.
My DH has not been to a Dr. in two years or so. Who the heck do I talk to get a SA???
Like we have all said before......... It is like the Stork keeps trying to hit my bullseye, but he keeps missing and hitting all of my nearest friends and family. ###### stork...... go to target practice and buy some glasses.
And if I ever find the sex ed teacher who told me all it takes is one time..............
I will tell her that it sure seems that way for a lot of people, but if I knew then that it would be so difficult now................... I guess I could just start acting like a dumb high schooler again.
I hope you guys are laughing with me, not thinking that I have lost it.

Aww, I know how you feel- I've also never seen even the faintest of lines on a Hpt. I've only been at this for 9 months and I know there are girls who have been ttc for much much longer. I just can't comprehend why it hasn't happened yet! WE are both pretty healthy people, so it just seems like it should have happened by now! Gees!
Hang in there girls! I know your time will come and I hope that it's soon!!!

while I've seen a line, I KWYM.
If you are seeing an RE, they should be requesting an SA for your DH. If you are just seeing a GYN, they may be able to request one too

I just got back from my annual visit with my doctor. I asked her where my hubby can get an SA test after she brought it up. She said they used to do them, but can't anymore. She suggested his primary care physician or a urologist. If your DH hasn't been to the doctor in 2 years, maybe he can make a regular appointment along with the SA.
It took me a year to get a BFP, so don't get too discouraged.

We've been trying for 14 months and my doctors can't make up their minds right now about me. So it keeps going on and the frustration keeps building. I however have seen and evap and it was heart breaking and I refuse to take Dollar Tree tests again.

Never been pregnant here either, not even the faintest line on any stick I have ever peed on.
For my DH's SA my GYN gave me a written order for the test, a form to fill out, and a sterile cup. DH had to collect the sample at home and take it into the lab himself. They faxed the results to my GYN and she called me to give them to me.

I've seen a BFP before... but it ended in a miscarriage.. Seeing that BFP, knowing a baby was growing inside of me, seeing/hearing the heartbeat only to have my baby die was absolutely the worst thing I've ever been through.. I'd rather not see a BFP then go through that

I've been pg before on the very first try. But that was years ago. She was born at full term but died at 3 months. That was the most devastating thing in the whole wide world. We have been trying since July with one miscarriage in Dec. But I've had many months with nothing but BFN's. I am 42 so I'm really getting discouraged. But I agree with April that I would rather get a BFN than have a baby die.

In a way, I think this, and in a way, I don't.
In some ways, I think, if I never get pregnant again...at least I had that month. That is more than some women ever have. I loved my baby so much and I'm so grateful that he was in my life because I got to be his mother for that short time. That said, it is absolutely heartbreaking and there are days when I think it would be easier if I had never gotten pregnant and just gotten BFNs.
