Depends on the kid. I'm also hoping my kids don't want them as I didn't, none of my siblings did as well as most of my nieces and nephews. If I do use them, they kid will be weaned from them early. I hate seeing kids walking around with a pacifier in their mouth.

Thumbs up. Some babies have a strong urge to suck and a sassy(as we called them) can satisfy that. Ds didn't take one very much. Only at certain times. My nephew did though. He had it until he was 2. My sister also took one for a long time.
Thumbs up! My niece and nephews all used them. I might try some that are easier to get at stores though. You have to order the soothies online. But I will definitely use a paci if my little one will take it.
Thumbs up. I think if our baby takes a paci we may use the soothie, since it's PBA free, etc. But there's another paci I think I'd rather use it's all natural.
