Okay, I am 42, DH is 43 & we have been trying since July 07 to get pg. I had a m/c in Dec. & we have been ttc furiously since then to no avail. My gyno told me in Jan to try for 3 months (due to my age) and if we weren't successful in 3 mos. that he would put me on Clomid.

I am scared of Clomid since I really don't want multiples though he told me it only has a 5% chance of causing twins & even less of causing triplets, etc. I've also heard of the awful side effects/mood swings it can cause. I already have enough mood swings with pms.

So I was thinking before trying clomid, I might try Vitex. Does anyone know if it helps with fertility? Any success stories. I can get it at GNC which would be easier than a doctor's appt.

Thanks,

Hi~ I took Vitex 2 cycles. One it lengthen my luteal phase by a day and the other it shortened my luteal phase. It did not help me get pregnant either. Good luck~
