Appointment Update!

So the doctors appointment went really really well! I actually was taken back on time....which always makes me happy....I am not very patient! lol

But I had my first U/S ever....Im not going to lie it was a little wierd, but cool. I am on about CD 4 or 5 now and everything looked great. I actually had 24 follies that were just starting to form (very early, without meds). I was a little worried that I wouldnt get to start meds because my cycle was so weird. In fact I wasnt even sure if I had had a period or not. But the good news is I am starting meds! I start clomid tonight, 50mg for 5 days. I am scheduled for my followup U/S May 1 at 8:40 am. Good news would be amazing at this appointment because my birthday is May 7th. If all goes well at that appoinment I would be okayed to take the Ovidrel shot that night.

The doctor also gave me some good news regarding PCOS...before the U/S the first doctor said based on my symptoms she was pretty sure that I had PCOS...however, based on the U/S the RE today said highly unlikely! I had 0 cysts on my ovaries.

He also couldnt seem to figure out how I wasnt pregnant yet! haha That made me happy! He said everything looked great and with the medication he has high hopes for me very soon! The only thing that was found was that I have a slightly inverted uterus. However, I was told this isnt really a concern at all and it is rather common.

So all in all I had a pretty good appointment! Please keep us in your prayers! We are really crossing our fingers for this cycle! If I were to get pregnant...it is possible that my due date would be on my dads b-day Jan. 24!!!
