When the doctor is checking you out (ie. like an ultrasound to check follicle size) and they refer to left and right ovary. Is it YOUR LEFT or THEIR LEFT?? I know..I'm such a dork but I was just thinking about it

Because my left is his right if he is facing me. LOL! I'm going to say it's from my perspective. Is that right? *pardon the pun*

In medicine it is always your left and right from your own perspective, not theirs. Good question! Dustin asked the same thing at our RE appt.

Yup- what Michelle said. Correct anatomic position is from your perspective when it comes to right and left.
