I took my first round of clomid this month on cd 5 - 9. I tested positive on the opk on cd 12. We BD that night & cd's 13 & 14 so I was thinking we've got it covered. But I only got ewcm yesterday (cd14) & today (cd15) I just checked my cervix position & it is high & soft.

Does this mean I haven't ovulated yet? I've heard that clomid can give false positives on opk's. How long does your cervix stay high after ovulation. We will BD again tonight but this is wearing us out. We're in our 40's! Tonight will already be 4 nights in a row.

Good luck Lisa~ I've heard that Clomid tends to make you O around CD14-15. So I think it may be today!!! Go get that egg. I trust and go by CM more than OPKs! Good luck!!

I forgot to mention that out of curiosity, I took another opk this morning & it was negative. I don't know what that may mean. Does anyone?

Thanks,

Well, you will usually ovulate within 24-48 hours after your last positive OPK, so if todays was negative, than you probably O'd yesterday, or will today or tomorrow. It is hard to pinpoint exactly. Some women ovulate the day of a positive OPK and other a day or two later. Good Luck! I hope you catch that eggie!

I think so long as you took the OPK at least 3 days after your last pill, your OPK won't be false. I agree Andrea and think you did O. Good Luck!
