2nd Betas

Well I couldn't wait, so I called back!!

The RE called me and I missed the call cause I was sleeping, (I hate food poisoning) anyways....he said that the levels indicated a normal pregnancy and there's no need for more tests/medications and to call to schedule an ultrasound in 2 weeks.

So I called the office and schedule the u/s. We get to see our baby on May 14!!

I'm so excited!! (I'll be 5w 5d)

And for the 2nd beta numbers......she said the doc had left the building and couldn't get the exact numbers but she thinks she belieives the HCG was 40.9 or 40 something. She said to call back Monday and she'll give them to me! So if that's correct they quadrupled!!!!! (or doubled every 24 hours)

Those numbers are awesome! YEAH!!! I'm sure the next 12 days will fly by for you so you can see your baby!!!

Yippe Yeah - how great - see I was right - overachiever in there hitting the big numbers! You will be shocked how much the bean looks like a baby even that early. I had an U/S at 8 weeks to get a better idea of my due date b/c of my screwed up cycles and no charting etc. Couldn't see anything with a belly ultrasound so he had to do a vaginal (which is like having a huge microphone shoved up there - it was weird they put a condom on it to cover it - weird - I wanted to say oh those aren't necessary now doc - he he he). Can't wait to see a pic - hopefully they'll print you off one of give you a disc of it - its amazing! Here is a cool U/S pic of Harrison at like 22 weeks or something - just to get you excited.
