Thumbs down - this brand is on the no - no list given this new plastic bottle issue. I used Dr. Browns with my son (he had alot of gassy problems) and it really made a big difference and he transitioned from boobbie to bottle really easily (good for me cause I didn't like nursing and couldn't keep up with his demands)....and they are not made in the US therefore, they do not contain the harmful plastic bottle substance - check out their website for more info (they are kind of pricey but well worth it!!!)

Thumbs sideways. These are great bottles and hopefully, playtex will stick to their word and stop using the BPA plastic. If they do that, these are thumbs up bottles.

I agree- My boss used them when I was a Nanny and they were great, but I would rather use a BPA free bottle.

Thanks for the comments ladies. I like how they are designed but agree that a bpa free bottle is best. Can you guys post some that you will be using?

I will either be using the Green to Grow Wide Neck or the Playtex Nurser with Drop Ins. I am considering using the Ventaire if they are BPA free by then, which they should be. Playtex has stated that they will have all BPA plastic out by the end of 2008.

Thumbs down just because of BPA. Once I get pregnant with a sticky baby I'll probably start really researching what is out there that is non-BPA. It's a little hard to know at this point who is going to get rid of it, all the bottle makers may eventually phase it out.
