Well I went for my annual today. She didn't even look at my charts that I brought her. She just said that she didn't really like to rely on temping or opks for oing. ***? She seems to think I might o earlier in my cycle and my egg isn't mature enough for conception. My charts show me oing on cd15 or cd16. She said that it's very rare that your lp is short. WTH? Where did she come from? She said to try for a few more months and if nothing, then go see an RE to have them run some tests. So, I'm gonna keep trying for a few months with my b6 and maybe some progesterone cream and see what happens! I'm so frustrated! I just want to give up, but I can't

Dh wants to wait a few more months before seeing an RE. Our insurance doesn't cover a lot of the tests, and we don't really have the extra to pay for it. So, I'm just here hoping for a BFP on my own!

I'm so sorry Michelle.... that's so discouraging! My old Dr didn't listen to me either, so I switched. I know not everyone can do that though. Hang with us girls, we'll try to help you get your BFP!

Awww Michelle~ I know EXACTLY what that's like having a doctor think they know everything when you feel you know more than them about your cycles and fertility. I had that happen in August with my first infertility visit, I was livid like you, thankfully 3 months later I found the RE and he was so much more help. Good luck girl! hang in there

O' Michelle, that totally stinks. I agree with the rest of the girls cause I too had a similar doctor. Even when she sent me for the 2nd half of my blood tests (the ones that should be 7 DPO), she told me to go on CD 21 or 22 and normally I don't even O until then. I just adjusted it myself cause she didn't seem to get it. My current doctor is absolutely amazing. He just jumped right into things and it's wonderful. He's so positive. I hope you can find a doctor like that. It makes things seem so much better, even when I get a BFN at the end of the month.

Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Thanks so much. It's just so frustrating. I'll let you all know if I decide to go to an RE though! I'll probably wait a few months like dh wants to.

Oh Michelle, I'm so sorry your dr was so dismissive and not helpful. I can't believe she won't order the basic bloodwork test just to make sure everything is on the up and up. I hope the months fly by and that you get a BFP or get so see a wonderful RE soon!

I completely understand your frustration. My recent appointment was hard for me and I am seeing an RE. Good luck to you hun.
