Well after all my testing, there is nothing to validate my pain and symptoms. Figures huh? I'm frustrated about that. We went back today because we are trying to confirm ovulation. I have one mature follicle and he said I should ovulate any day now. He said DH's sperm is not penetrating the mucous and his sperm isn't the issue. So, due to that and my supposed ovulation, he wants to do an IUI on Wednesday. WHAT??? I wasn't prepared for that. I don't know anyone who did this without meds to help stimulate the ovaries. He said it was too late for meds this month, so he wanted to try it this way and at least give my egg and DH's sperm the chance to meet as if we had done this naturally and the sperm could get into the uterus. HE said the chance is around 10%. I'm guessing if this one doesn't work, at the tune of $700, that we will do it again next cycle with meds. No clue. However, we would have to give another month between because of finances. We have to replace our whole central air unit and that's an absurd cost there. BLAH!! Anyone experience this? I'm a little freaked out because this came really quick and, just wow. Thanks for letting me vent.

That's a lot for an IUI, I never heard of it costing more than like $500. Good luck~!

I hope that the surprise IUI turns out to be just what you need to get that BFP... Sometimes the best laid plans never work out and the surprises are what do! You never know! Good Luck!

Thank you. I emailed the insurance person tonight and hopefully will hear back tomorrow. It seems high to me, but if it includes the costs for DH's sperm washing, etc. then I guess it isn't too bad.
