We just started our seventh cycle today. We've been TTC since November 2007 and so far have had absolutely no luck. Seeing so many BFPs from people who just started trying is kind of starting to get to me and it would be great to talk to other women that have been TTC for a similar amount of time. Thanks in advance whatever your responses are.

Hello!!! So glad to have you join us here~!! I know exactly how you feel about first time tryers getting their BFP first time. That's so not easy. The ladies here can totally relate with you on that too! This board is great but the ladies are even greater! Ok I sound so cheesy. Forgive my cheesiness.

I'm Lindsey married to DH Simon. It took us 18 cycles to finally get our BFP. And your host here. If you need anything I'm a PM away. I've been part of this board for the past 6 months+ and I love it. The ladies here are awesome and I'm praying/rooting for you all to get your BFPs. I know how hard, long, frustrating the TTC journey can be, I never thought we'd get pregnant and it did, thanks to the help of medical assistance.

I hope your stay is short and sweet. Good luck on your TTC journey~ Lots of baby dust Jump in and start posting, looking forward to getting to know you~

Thank you. My first two were surprises, but DH is their step-dad so they're not sure if we'll need medical assistance or not. DH doesn't want things to go that way though so it'll either happen naturally or not at all. We had our hearts set on a 2008 baby, but obviously that didn't happen or I wouldn't be here. They think his hernia surgery or blood pressure medication could be affecting his swimmers so I'm hoping that it'll just take awhile. Who knows?

Anyways, thanks for the warm welcome. I've been lurking here from time to time and you all seem like such wonderful women.

You're very welcome. If it's his meds affecting the swimmers maybe he could get his meds changed? I've heard of meds affecting the swimmers before just something to possibly look into in the future, could be an easy med switch. Hopefully it won't be long at all till you get your BFP~

So glad you are joining us and not a lurker anymore I'm sure you'll love this board!

Michelle: I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I really hope that you get a sticky bean soon.

Linds: DH was supposed to get an SA done back in March and still hasn't gotten it done. At this point I don't think he ever will. Without that we don't want to start messing with his medication because it took them some time to find the right one to begin with. If it isn't the medication at all we'd much rather have him stick with something we know works and doesn't give him a lot of problems.

Welcome. I'm Cel (30). DH (31) and I have been ttc for 14 months. I'll be starting clomid in the next week or two depending on when AF decides to show.

I hope you don't have to stick around with us too long.

Hi. I'm Tami (27) married to my wonderful husband (29). We started TTC originally back in November 2006 and tried for six months and had to stop for thyroid issues. Turns out it was cancer and I had it removed. I had been diagnosed with IR and PCOS during that time of trying. My meds got worked out in February, so I made an appointment with and RE for April so that I could get retested, etc. Everything checks out fine, despite symptoms, except my cervical mucus is a little hostile..lol! So, I came over here and everyone has been wonderful. We had our first IUI on Wednesday without meds. If it doesn't work, on to clomid and another IUI next month.

I completely understand your feelings on seeing people get pregnant super quick and it not coming like that for you. Good luck to you hun and hopefully you'll see your BFP soon!!

I can relate to how you're feeling. When I was cohosting AIP, I sometimes had trouble with that also. It put me in a position b/c I wanted to be happy & supportive of "my" girls who'd just gotten their BFPs & were having the happiest time of their lives but at the same time, it wasn't me So I felt selfish for feeling a little down & out. It was tough. Anyhoo...my point is.... I know how you feel!
The good news is that 90% of us will conceive within a year & I guess for the remaining 10% of us, it may just take a little longer. As hard as it is, try to keep your chin up. Hopefully our time will come soon!
