I need your help ladies, with my wedding coming up i am beginning to panic a little as there are still some things i need to sort out. My chief bridesmaid lives in America and its sometimes a little difficult to contact her and get ideas from her, thats why i am recruiting you all as my helpers!

What can I do with my hair on the day?? The wedding is in July and im hoping its going to be hot! My dress is strapless and pretty plain on the front with lots of decoration on the back.

This is my hair now (excuse the picture, my hair its a bit messy as i left it to dry naturally and i've no make up on as i haven't left the house today!)

HELP!!!!!!

My cousin has hair a lot like yours and what she did for her wedding in the tropics was have it curled. Then she had the sides pulled back and clipped with a beautiful silver clip that went great with her gown. A lot of hairstyles don't do well in hot, humid weather so simpler may be better. I hope this helps!

Thanks for that. My hair doesnt really hold curls, the just drop out. It also goes a little frizzy in humid weather. Im thinking i need to have it tied back but im not sure how.

Mine doesn't hold curls either. Or clips for that matter, so I just pulled it back and clipped it right before the wedding and the clip fell out shortly after. Have you tried looking at Walmart or book stores for books of hair styles? Maybe you would see something you like that you could have a stylist do before the ceremony.

Maybe if your dress has got a lot of decoration on the back and your hair doesn't hold too much of a curl, you could do a simple french twist. That way,m your dress would stand out as well as your hair! I wore my hair like that in my SIL's wedding and I got tons of compliments on how simple and pretty it was. Here's a pic:

You can Google "french twist hair" and see all different versions and varieties too! Plus, you can dress it up with a pretty clip or comb!

Hope that helps! Also- you may want to do a trial run with your hair before so you know how long it'll take and also to make sure that it's what you want! Hope that helps!

I agree with Cris. That would be beautiful, and you could really see your dress in the back then. G/L Let us know what you decide.

I love that idea Cris, might give it a try. If i keep it simple it will show my dress off

Are you doing your own hair or hiring a stylist? If you are hiring someone, talk to them about doing two trials...one to get ideas as to what might work, then once a decision is made, a second to see how long it takes

Im getting the hairdresser to do it for me, there's no way i could do it!! I need something thats quick and easy to do as the wedding is at 11:30. It takes 45 minutes to get to the venue from my house so will be setting off about 10:30. Thanks for the tips about 2 trials - good idea!

That french twist is absolutely gorgeous.....I love it. I also had my hair dresser do my hair prior to the wedding as well. We took pics too so I could look at over and over again before the big day. Great ideas everyone!
