Hello ladies,

I never imagined I'd be posting here (bet you hear that a lot lol), but here I am!

I'm Melissa, 28 (29 in Aug) & DH is Emanuel, 30. I used to cohost Am I Pregnant so some of you may already know me. We've been ttc since September so 9 long months. I'm fairly certain it'll be on to 10 months as this cycle doesn't look so hot either

I've had my progesterone & TSH tested & all is well & good there. I've had all kinds of other bloodwork done & everything's normal there too. I ovulate fine. My ob-gyn won't do any further fertility testing until we've been ttc for a year (well we're almost there! ) & part of me is happy about that as I'm stubborn & have felt we'll get pg before then anyway. Sigh.... My DH is not circumcised (his parents are off the boat from Portugal) & he's convinced it's his fault we can't get pg. He wants to have the "snip snip" done, but we've put it off for various reasons.

I'm sorry to see you over here. I'm not sure what the "snip snip" would have to do with anything. People were reproducing long before that became popular! I hope that you get your BFP before the one year mark, but if you don't at least it sounds like you have a good doctor.

DH is just convinced that the swimmers get caught in the extra skin and don't have the open space for full....projection into my vaginal canal & cervix. That's his theory LOL. I always tell him that not everyone in the world is circumcised & how are they able to have children? He does want to get an SA but we're just waiting for some insurance issues to be cleared up first so we may have to wait a couple more months. I was hoping we wouldn't even have to get that far.

Hi Melissa and Welcome! I'm Cris married to Shawn and we're going into Month 11 of trying. I think I remember you from TTC#1?!?!? Forgive me if I'm wrong (I usually am, but don't tell my DH! LOL) I'm sorry that your TTC journey has taken you here, but I hope that you'll get your BFP soon. The ladies here are so great and I'm sure you'll love it here! I'm Lindsey married to Simon for over a year. After 18 long cycles we finally got our BFP, I hope my story gives you ladies here hope that it can happen when it's supposed to. Cris, I did post on TTC #1 for a while, but then I started cohosting AIP & it took pretty much all of my time & I really didn't post anywhere else. So you weren't wrong! I'm surprised you remembered! That was a while ago!!
