What have you thought of season finales so far? Is there anything that you particularly loved or wanted to change? Are you looking forward to next season?

I loved most of the Monday finales that I watched (The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement). I thought that they did well combining the seriousness of the characters' situations and the usual humor you expect from the shows. I didn't like the car accident in How I Met Your Mother though. I was t-boned by somebody running a red light back in 2003 and ever since then that sort of thing on TV brings back bad memories. Other than that though I thought the writers did a great job and I can't wait for next season!

I do have to say that I was incredibly disappointed with the Bones season finale. They could've done so much with Boothe's shooting that they chose not to do, and they took away Zach! It wasn't even the actors choice, they just decided to use him for a twist! I would have been much more satisfied if the apprentice was some oddball extra that you see in the lab on occasion. It just doesn't make sense to me that they used Zach claiming he was a weak personality. I never saw that in any of the characters, especially him. I'm going to keep watching the show, but it won't be the same without Zach and I'm going to look forward to reruns with him in it.

The CSI finale is probably my favorite one so far because of the way Warrick left. I would've been so disappointed if he'd just been fired. A character like that deserves a good, strong conclusion. The actor said quite some time ago that he wouldn't be renewing his contract or doing any future episodes, and that he really wanted the character to go out with a bang. Dying after a display of determination and passion for what he does at the hand of the person who tried to have him framed was probably one of the best things they could have done. As soon as they cleared Warrick of the charges I knew that one of the rogue cops would kill him, I just didn't know where and certainly didn't expect the under sherriff. I'll miss the character, but I'm glad that the actor is trying to straighten his life out and I'll be looking forward to the next season premiere!

I haven't seen How I Met Your Mother yet, so I skipped over your opinion of that one.

I too was disappointed with Bones. The first half of the season, I was hoping that Sweets was Gormagon/Gorgonzola I really came to like the dynamic between Sweets, Bones and Boothe, so I was hoping he wasn't G or the apprentice. I was very disappointed that Zach was the apprentice. I felt like it was a last minute decision with no hints or clues in previous episodes to point us that way. I just feel like it was poor writing, but maybe I missed something along the way.

One Tree Hill is the only other finale I've seen. It was ok, but not great. The cliffhanger was stupid. They showed it on commercials, so I was surprised that was it. I assumed there would be more to it. I assume he called Lindsey because Peyton was waiting for a call from the singer about the man she met who know Peyton's biological mother and Brooke was waiting for a call to tell her that the baby was home ok. Of course, they could do something totally lame and have him marry Brooke so they can do something with that next season. I hope if he calls Lindsey she says "no" and is finally off the show. I don't care if Lucas is with anyone else, but I didn't care for Lindsey's character. Hopefully Dan is dead and not just hurt. His part in this season was aggravating and useless. Nathan's mom's character is just wrong! They've turned her into a total tramp and Skills into a male #####. I was very much not into that story line. It just seemed gross. Hopefully they'll get rid of her next season as well. They "kids" on the show are old enough they don't need their parents hanging around forever. It's like if 90210 had kept the parents through college and beyond. Totally pointless characters.

Just watched HIMYM online. I liked it. I didn't mind the accident, but have never been in one like that. I thought it was interesting how Barnie was looking at Robin while Lilly and Marshall joked about the things he loves. Every once in a while they show the Barnie isn't as slimy as he likes to appear. He actually does have feelings. I really like Sarah Chalke as Stella, but since she's on Scrubs and the kids being narrated to don't seem to know she's their mom, I doubt she's here to stay. Plus, I haven't seen her with a yellow umbrella yet.

Yeah I highly doubt that Stella is the yellow umbrella lady and neither of the kids look like a grown up Lucy. I know it wouldn't be the same person, but they usually try for some similarity. Scrubs is ending, but I think she'll end up being just another guest star in the end. Or who knows, maybe she'll become another Robin and she's actually Aunt Stella in a similar fashion. I love trying to figure Barnie out and seeing him hurt and trying to stay tough in the eyes of his friends was a great step towards showing the care he puts into what his friends think of him. I'd love to see him settle down in the end of the series to give the character a real conclusion. Hopefully that's a few years off though!

I don't watch One Tree Hill, but if they put the cliffhanger in commercials that really was a bad move. Commercials are supposed to build suspense that leave you waiting for the next big surprise. They're not supposed to show the key part of a finale. That makes me think of movies where they show all of the good parts on commercials so by the time you see it in the theater all that's left are the dull fillers.

I agree that the decision to make Zach the apprentice seems poorly written and last minute. The actor that played him stated that he was informed of the decision about two months ago though, so it isn't a rushed poorly written decision. It was just a thought out horrible idea that I think will hurt the show in the long run. He was the teddy bear of the team. Now you have the emotional shut-off (Temperance), the conspiracy theorist(Hodgins), the romantic (Angela), the confused tough boss lady (Cam), the tough guy (Booth), and the funny mental man (Sweets). There's no teddy bear! Every show has to have a teddy bear!

I too was disappointed in the Bones finale... I was thinking it was Sweets too... Zach being it totally through me for a loop, totally didn't see that one coming at all.. I'm going to miss him. and I feel bad for Bones.

The House season finale was really good.. I can't believe Amber died! and now what's going to happen with Wilson and House?
