So, I'm getting a bit anxious because I take my first pill tomorrow. Just wondering, what time of day do you take yours? Do you take it on a full stomach, or doesn't it matter. My doctor told me it didn't matter what time of day, just to take it at the same time each day. I've heard of girls taking it at night to try and reduce the number of S/E. Any information you can share would be wonderful.
Thanks girls!!

I take mine at 4:00 pm each day. I only did that because I read a few people say it helped them have s/e at night. So far I haven't had any s/e and have heard a lot of people say the s/e come after the pills, so it may not matter what time you take them. I usually eat lunch between 12:30 and 1:00 and then a snack between 3:00 and 4:00, so there's probably something in my stomach when I take it, but I'm not taking it on a full stomach or with a meal.

Thanks Cel....I'm still not sure what time I'll end up taking it tomorrow. One of my co-workers is retiring and we are having a small party for you, not sure when I'll get home.
Good luck this month! Keep me posted on your s/e and stuff.

The first month I took mine in the morning because that is just when I am used to taking meds (when I always took my BCP.) The second month I took it at 3 pm, but that was simply because I didn't make it to the pharmacy to pick it up the first day until that time, and I was just trying to stay consistent. I would say just take it what ever time of the day is easiest for you to remember it.

Question for you jeanbean...I'm starting Clomid for the first time next week and haven't gotten my prescription filled. I can't remember what days my doc told me to take it. Are the instructions on your prescription bottle at to what cycle days you are supposed ot take it on?

uscgal, my prescription didn't have instructions on it except to tell me to take it on the CDs my doctor instructed me to take it. If yours doesn't come with instructions, you'll want to call your doctor and ask which days to take it.

I took mine at about 7pm. It just worked for me. And, like some of the pp said, I didn't notice any side effects until after the last pill. So, I think this cycle, I am going to take mine in the morning. IDK why, just a change of pace. LOL

Mine said take days 2-6 on the label. I just depends what your doctor said when they called in or wrote out the script. If it is not on there just call and ask.

My prescription didn't actually say on the bottle, but the doctor instructed me to take it on CD 5-9. I would call your doctor if the bottle doesn't say. Good Luck
Thanks for all the advice girls! I just took mine at 9 PM.

Well girls, last night was my first dose of clomid. Today, I have had a non-stop headache. I'm not sure if it's from the clomid or from all the pollen flying around today. We were outside all day. We'll see what tomorrow brings as I take my next dose in a couple of hours!!!
Good luck girls!

Any updates???????
I'm now on CD 24, 8 DPO. For the past several days I have felt so dehydrated. It doesn't seem to matter how much water I drink, I'm still feeling very cottony-mouthed!! Is this a typical symptom of clomid? Other than that, I've had twitches of pain so I know my ovaries are telling me they are there. Doing pretty good emotionally, but that changes from day to day.
Hoping we'll get some CLOMID BFP's this cycle.
Good luck girls!!!

No cotton mouth here. I'm drinking my normal amount of water, which is a lot. I am between 5 to 9 DPO. I think I'm 9, but FF says 5 because I had a slow temp rise. I don't have sore boobs, abdominal cramping or any other sign AF is showing, but I did have a slight temp dip this morning. I'm hoping it goes back up and it was just a continuation of my step back rise this month. I do get twinges from my ovaries every once in a while. I don't know which one I Od from since they both twinge. Maybe I O'd from both and I'll have twins
Good luck to you.

Your chart is looking very good. I wish mine looked like that We are almost cycle buddies then....I'm 8 DPO......when are you planning on testing? I'm hoping my temp keeps rising and I can give it a go on Sunday. If they start to fall, I'll probably wait till AF shows.
Good luck!
