I'm trying to look at things a little differently so I'm not always down about AF or BFNs. If I don't get preggo right away, at least it'll give me some time to save more $. I've been trying to spend less because Abby starts preschool in the fall, and that is a lot of $. Plus I'm giving a whole bunch of her clothes (and some blankets & towels) away to friends of ours who are expecting this summer because they really don't have a lot of $. So if we have another baby I'll probably have to buy clothes either way. Also, if I don't get pregnant soon, we may have a chance to go to Disneyland next fall w/ my parents, so that is something to look forward to, at least.

That's a really great way to look at things! I try to do that each time I get AF... there was some reason that I didn't get pregnant that month... It actually helps sometimes!

Good luck with your new approach!

Thanks! I'm also just going to try to keep busy w/ more positive things (i.e. not googling infertility and stuff like that when I'm in the possible 2WW)...it kinda goes against my nature, but I'd like to be a bit more optimistic about everything in general!

It's nice to have things that take your mind off the BFN. I am glad you are looking at the bright side!!

I think that does help! I need to ban google from my computer sometimes. According to google results, I am suffering from a host of different diseases right now. IMO, they are fighting to see which one is going to finish me off! LOL. But honestly, scrapbooking has helped me tons to keep my mind off all of this TTC nonsense!

I don't know if I need google banned....maybe just filtered to leave all the medical stuff out or at least the infertility stuff out!

Oooh, scrapbooking...I miss that!

I have a lot of work/school stuff to keep me occupied right now, but I would love to find time to scrap again. It seems that ever since I had DD almost 3 years ago, I don't have time for most of my hobbies...not that I'm complaining, mind you.

That's good that you are looking on the bright side. I think the longer I wait, the longer I have taken to "do my homework" and know what I want to do on things like vaccinations, etc.

Googling things always makes me so much more anxious. I need to stop. I am completely banned from doing it (by myself and my Dh) for sure the next time I get pregnant.

Me too. Now I'm at the point where, hey we're going to be Newlyweds and just get the living together in our own place thing down. Disney would be AWESOME Lauren! Abby would love it!!

I'm glad that you are looking on the bright side! Whenever I get "down" about the whole ttc thing, I always talk with DF about how we will have more money and better jobs, house, things like that the longer that we wait. It actually does help me to think about these things. Good luck to you!

I do the same thing. I try to find the reason for everything... especially the disappointments. As much as we may not like it, there usually is a reason for everything!
