Ok so my doctor told me a few months ago that I should start taking OPKs the day after AF went away since I never know how long my cycles will be...well for the past 4 or so months I have had AF for 7 days! Well today is cycle day 6 and AF left yesterday! So should I wait until cycle day 8 or should I start doing OPKs now? I have plenty I just wasn't sure if since AF was shorter if that ment that I might ovulate earlier??? That would be so awesome if I did since DH is suppose to be leaving around when I should ovulate if it was like my last 2 cycles! TIA!!!!

If you have an ample supply of sticks, I'd just do it. It wouldn't hurt just in case you do O early.

If you have the OPKs, why not use them! Good luck and I hope your DH doesn't have to leave before you O!

If you have them, use them. Especially with unpredictable cycles. That way you'll have the comfort in knowing you didn't miss even a hint of a surge. Good luck!
