Welllll, before I started being treated for my PCOS, I often got positive OPKs. But they were false positives because my LH was so high when it normally shouldn't be (a signifier of PCOS--I had a high LH to FSH ratio). So that was why I kept getting positive OPKs even though I wasn't ovulating. They were just useless at detecting ovulation.
Many women with PCOS just don't ovulate and so AF never shows up. So the key would be to treat the PCOS with drugs like Met and a different diet and exercise regime, and then wait and see. Even though your symptoms aren't normal for "normal" women, they sound very characteristic to me of PCOS women. I hope you can see a doc that will treat your PCOS
