I don't normally start a post because I spend WAY too much time learning from all of the other posts...so here goes. I'm supposed to start this week, I think. I have no idea. I thought I was in the 2WW but maybe not. I am so confused. If AF starts tomorrow, this will be our second full "normal" cycle. We've been trying since October but during that time I had the LONGEST cycle I have ever had. I POAS yesterday and there was a weird vertical line that went across, next to the control line (first response test). I totally got my hopes up that it might be a BFP, but once it "dried" there was nothing there. I stared for hours and ended up crying my eyeballs out. I don't temp, and have only gone off of what my FF calendar says - it says I'm supposed to start tomorrow. Of course, that's based off my wack cycles. I just don't feel it. I don't feel AF coming and I'm not sure about BFP.

Compared to last cycle - was this one similar??

I don't know what to think about the HPT test - maybe it was a dud?? I would say to wait a few days and if the evil witch stays away, test again.

Keep us posted!!

Thank you for the response! It was similar up until today. Usually I have cramping right before AF, but i've had cramping the last week, and none today. If she's a no show, I'm going to test again Saturday morning.

I'm sorry your body decided to be confusing and wacky. It's definitely not fair. I hope that AF stays away and you get a BFP soon. A lot of girls I know have said they felt like AF was coming when they got their BFP, so don't lose hope!

I've heard that some people never get + results from urine tests. Someone on another board told me that most hospitals will do blood tests for pregnancy (not covered by insurance, of course). Maybe you could get one, or even think about seeing your dr. if you can't get a + and AF is a no show for a while?

I dunno what to say, but try temping if you aren't preggo this cycle. It really helps to know for certain when you O'ed based off of temps. Good Luck!

Even an evap should remain for awhile after a test dries. It sounds like a dud to me. I hope AF stays away and you get a true BFP in a few days! Good luck!

Thank you everyone for the replies!!! I think if AF doesn't show by Saturday, and I get a BFN, I will call my Dr. to see if I can get in. I'm hoping I won't have too

I bought my BBT this weekend! I was hoping that, by some magical power, it would keep AF away but if not, you are right, it will help me know if I am O'ing at all.

Thank's again everyone, you are GREAT!

Maybe you could try calling First Response customer serv & see what they say about that funky line. That's weird.
I hope AF stays away & you get a nice clear BFP instead!!

BBTTs are great though.. it's helpful with ovulation & esp in the 2ww to see if your temps remain high or if they start to drop, showing that AF is on her stupid way. Good luck!!
