I like to day dream about this so I figured I'd ask all of you I try not to think about it when I'm in the 2ww because I'm superstitious & I think I won't be pg if I think about how I'll tell DH (I know.. I'm a little nuts lol). But sometimes I can't help it.
I used to have a site bookmarked about all the creative ways to tell DH... I'll see if I can find it!

Hahaha...I do that alot too!!
I think the best idea that I have, is to just test while he is at work, if its positive I will go out to WalMart or somewhere and buy on girl outfit and one boy outfit and lay them out on the table. Then when he comes home and sees them Im sure he will figure it out.
I also have thought about how we are going to tell our families. Well both our families really like M&Ms so we are going to order that personalized ones and put "A Boy" "Or a Girl" on them and see what they say. We dont live close to either side so we are going to send them in gifts to them. I am hoping for a late fathers day present.

I'll probably call him at work immediately with the blood test results. Since I couldn't easily sneak off for a quantititive it'd be hard to keep it a secret that I suspect it. Plus I'd have to be pretty late and stuff so odds are he'd know without being told. I can't wait to hear what the rest of you would do though, the women here are so creative!

I'm hoping for an early father's day present and dh bday present (june 18) I will probably just wrap up a digi test. I want to make or buy dd a shirt that says I'm gonna be a big sister. I hope I'll get my bfp this cycle so I can do this.

I've been looking all over for that site I'd saved & I can't find it I'm so bummed because it had about 100 ideas & it was great! I checked my bookmarks and email accounts and nada. Darn...
I was thinking of doing something w/one of the onesies I have.. wrapping it up & giving it to him or asking him if he thinks it'd fit (like holding it up to my belly). One of the ideas on that website was to get something engraved & have it be from the baby... like a bracelet, silver baby rattle, picture frame, etc & have it say "I can't wait to meet my Daddy" or something along those lines. I thought that was a really nice idea & something he'd have forever that he could look at & always remember.

If I get my this month, I am going to wait a week and tell him when we go away for our three year anniversary. Put it in a bag or something and pretend like i bought him a present.

We just moved in with my mom while our house is being built, and I thought I could come out of the bathroom waving a digital test and yelling, "I think my mom might be pregnant! I found this is the trash!" The best part is that she had a hysterectomy years ago

DH will probably be with me when I test. He really wants to be there so we can decide together. But, we will see. I want to surprise him too.

I thought about drawing a frame on the bathroom mirror in dry erase marker so that his face would be in the frame. It would say Dad of the Year on the top and 2009 (hopefully) on the bottom. he is always so sleepy in the morning that I figure it will take him a minute to wake up and see it.

DH is always with me when I test, so we'll find out at the same time! It was DH's idea and I think it's a great one!

Michelle your sense of humor cracks me up!
I am testing tomorrow and really hoping for a BFP because then we could tell my in-laws in person at dinner tomorrow night. Of course I'd tell Dh beforehand. I've already planned out that I would go get a Father's Day card and sign it as if it were from the baby saying "I can't wait to meet you in February". I think I could hand him the card without him guessing because he'd just think I was showing him a Father's day card that I found for one of our dads.
If not this cycle, then I have a few other ideas rattling around in my brain.

I'm testing on Father's Day, so if it comes out positive, I've got a little mini scrapbook album that I could quickly assemble for him with pics of the BFP and his other kids.
If I don't get a BFP on Father's Day, that Friday is Army Birthday ball, and I've thought of a couple different ways to tell him with that. One would be to stick the test in his uniform pocket, another would be to tell him while we're dancing that we got an awesome price on tickets since 3 people got in for the price of two, lol. I guess it iwll all depend on when I get my BFP and how long I can wait
