Hi Ladies! ( I posted this on the TTC board too)

Im going to start using OPK this month....I just ended AF and not sure when to actually start the OPK and do I do then everyday or every other or what?? I know the line color has to be as dark as or darker than the control line...when that happens it is 12-48 hours til I O??

Ovulation is SUPPOSE to be days 12-14. That doesn't mean that you will ovulate those days. I can tell when I am ovulating because my side hurts realllly bad so I am fortunate.

It would get expensive to test every other day! If you have a regular cycle I would test on days 12-16. If you have late cycles (like me) I would test starting day 15-21 or something like that. It depends on your cycle length.

If you get a positive reading it means that you will ovulate in 24-48 hours.

I think that I replied on the TTC board, but just wanted to wish you luck again! I love using OPKs...it's the only time I get 2 lines when I pee on sticks.
