I pick him up from work everyday while he's without his car?!?!? LOL... That's pretty thoughtful, but I'm just kidding...

DH and I try to do one really thoughtful/nice thing a week for each other. Sometimes cards or notes, or take each other out for dinner or dessert. On top of that, I send him a nice text message, IM or email for when he's at work every night. Lately, he has told me that he really appreciates my supporting his Lacrosse team and helping out with the booster club. He says that it makes him feel good to know I'm behind him to support him, so I guess he considers that thoughtful.

LOL I was thinking the same thing!

My DH used to rub my back (I have a herniated disc) but not so much anymore Oh well.
I pick his clothes up off the bathroom floor. That's thoughtful enough. LOL jk

We email each other throughout the day at work. Sometimes I'll surprise him at work & bring him a hazelnut latte. Right now he's sick so I bought him soup, tea, & medicine. If I'm at the store, I like to buy him little things I think he'd like or that he needs like boxers or nicer shaving cream from CO Bigelow. I also leave him little notes in his scrubs when he works his night shifts at the hospital. I don't tell him & let him find them when he's working

It's really fun to try to come up with new and exciting things to surprise him with and it's one of the things I look forward to every week. I agree that it's one of the keys to a good marriage! I would honestly suggest that everyone try it for like a month... I'm sure they'd be hooked on it!
I'm sure you'll be able to come up with some great ideas to do for your DH. And remember- it doesn't have to be anything over the top big! Sometimes washing DH's car is just as nice as a candle light dinner! (Or so he tells me! )

I am going to try it for sure!! We still have the spark in our marriage and i want to keep it that way. Plus when the baby comes i want to make sure we have a really strong marriage and i want him to know i appreciate him even though our little bean will be #1 for a while.

I buy him little things when I'm shopping - silly stuff that usually represent some kind of inside joke between us.
