Well, my DH had his SA yesterday. He said it was kind of weird. He could hear people walking around and talking and that seemed to kind of bother him. He didnt want to talk much about giving the sample though! I think he was embarassed!! We dont get the results back for a week!! Ahh!!! How long did it take for you guys to get them back? Just curious....

I am so impatient! I just want to know...

Your poor Dh. I would be embarassed too!
My husband got to do his at home and then bring it in and drop it off. It took 6 days to get the results. Good luck

Awww your poor DH. That must be terribly uncomfortable. Reminds me of those comedies where guys go into sperm banks and then have trouble getting the sails raised
I hope all goes well with your DH & that the week will fly by. I think that's about average. It's too bad you don't know someone on the "inside". Usually with lab results, they have them back quicker than what they tell you. They usually give you a more conservative timeframe. When my Mom had a biopsy for skin cancer, they told her 10-21 days. I was able to see her results in 2 days (she had it done where I work) & was able to tell her, unfortunately she did have 2 types of skin cancer . Maybe you could always call earlier & see. Give 'em the ol' going out of town next week story

Also, think of it like this... you're in another 1ww except at least with this one you don't have to POAS on anything or try to decipher any real or IPS!

My DH got to do his at home too. When he saw the lab didn't really have a private spot for "gathering his men" he opted to do it at home. We got our results back in 2 days though.......I felt bad for him during the waiting time. I was convinced that I was going to tell him that his results were good even if they weren't. I just saw how horrible he was feeling. Thankfully, everything was AOK and later when he went to the doctor appointment with me the doc told him he must be some kind of superman....that totally made up for having to get it done in the first place.

Good luck. Maybe you can try and get the results earlier.

My DH had to do his at his doctor's office. We had a week full of great jokes afterwards. We were lucky and they do the analisys and result consult the same day as the sample is given. We only had to wait about 4 hours.
