I am always cautious talking about baby names with my friends or family, because I'm afraid they'll steal my names! Several of my friends have stolen names I have mentioned!! I thought it would be fun to see what you all have picked out. Maybe I can steal one from you
Girls: Kinley or Kennley, Kensie, Kylie, Karlie (hey i like K names)
Boys: Logan, Landon, Tanner, Aiden

We are going with Brendan John for a boy
We're still up in the air with the girl name...here are some we're thinking about:
Camryn
Kelsey
Anna
I know what you mean about names being taken...we had our hearts set on the name Allison and then a family member named their girl that! So frustrating!

For a girl, we're most likely going with Alexandra Sivan (Si- van.. short i).
For a boy, most likely Jacob Hunter.
But I LOVE Jack (DH doesn't). I also love Hudson & Ryan. Dh doesn't. We're also considering Joaquin. I wasn't really sold on it, but in Portuguese (which dh is 100%), it's pronounced Joo-keen. I like that pronounciation better, but I know in the US no one is going to pronounce it like that so I'm reluctant. He says it means King so I kind of like that.

I just wanted to say that I think you guys have to use "J"!!! Especially since you like so many J names. It would be so cute having Josh and Jamielynn and then all of the kids starting with J also!!! Too cute!! haha
But anyways, we pretty much have our boy name picked out:
It will either be,
Mason Thomas: Mason we both just LOVE, Thomas is in honor of my DHs uncle who was killed at age 20 in a roofing accident.
or
Frederick Mason (go by Mason): Frederick is a 6 generation family name on my DHs side. There have been 6 Frederick Bells in a row....lol
For girls we have a few choiced but nothing set in stone:
Brooklynn JoAnn Bell: I absolutely love the name Brooklyn but I am not sure if I like it with our last name, JoAnn will be the mn regardless, it is a combination of my mothers and MILs middle names Jo and Ann....
Hailee JoAnn: probably my favorite right now
Jillian JoAnn: not too sure of the double Js but love the name
Sydnee JoAnn: My DH loves this name, it is growing on me....

We have a girls name all picked out: Mia Josephine. It's in honor of my Grandmother who passed.
As far as boys names, we don't really have anything set in stone, but we like these:
Lorenzo (Enzo), Salvatore, Dante, and Augostino (DH likes the nickname Auggie)
We aren't planning on telling anyone any of the names we like (I'm also afraid that they'd be taken), but to top that off, once we know if it's a boy or girl, we're going to pick the name and not tell anyone until the baby is born. We want everyone to be surprised at something since we'll find out the sex. DH's cousin did that and we all thought it was great!

That is exactly what we plan on doing!! For a while I was considering not finding out the sex, and then I decided I would find out the sex but I wasnt going to tell anyone. Well I decided that if I wanted any sort of gifts that were gender related, I would have to tell them the sex. But I still wanted something to be a surprise so we decided not telling anyone the name was the best way to do that....

I was worried that people would be angry about not knowing, but once we saw DH's cousin do it, they were surprised and pleased, so I know it shouldn't be a problem. I don't mind them knowing the sex- in case they want to get gifts or whatever, but I think it'll be a fun surprise for the name. Now I'm just worried about my nosy mother and MIL!!!

Oh wow...it's so hard to choose. There are a lot of names I like, but being a teacher, sometimes you get a student (or more than 1) w/ that name and you don't want to be reminded of them! Then I also kind of want a name that can be made into a nickname as well, but I'm not set on that characteristic!
I think the only thing we know for sure is that if we have a boy, his middle name will be Kanji after Dh's grandpa. If we have a girl I'm leaning toward Kiyoko because it could be a combo of DH's 3 grandma's middle names. (Abby's middle name is after my grandmother.) I think I'd like the middle initial K because that's the initial the rest of us have.
Some boys' names: Noah (which DH will never go for), Brayden, Landen (DH doesn't like this one either), Cade
Some girls' names: Hayley (this is probably the most likely name since we both like it), Taylor, Alexis

We did this with Bailey. Everyone knew it was a girl but didn't know the name. Then in the last trimester we told them it started with the letter "B"...
Unfortunately 3 days before Bailey was born, my DH accidentally let it slip in front of my mom. She kept it hush, but I was SO mad at DH!! We were only 3 days shy of keeping it a complete secret!! LOL!!!
