I just got this book free in a prenatal care kit through work. It also came with Dr. Spock's book (forgot the whole title).
Anyway.. was flipping through it last night & towards the back it lists every kind of pregnancy symptom and when you can expect to get it (1st, 2nd, & 3rd trimester). It has everything from nausea and frequent urination to round ligament pain & varicose veins to melasma and cervical mucous. It's also great b/c under each symptom & when you can expect to get it, it gives you a description of what it is, how you can treat or avoid it and what to do if you need medical care for it.

The whole book is great. From what I was reading, it gives you step by step details of childbirth. Information on birthing options & developing your birth plan, info on vaccines, circumcision, prenatal testing, how your baby develops week by week while you're pregnant. I mean, it goes on & on. It covers A LOT.

Just thought I would share b/c I know how many (um, pretty much all of us!) like to obssess about symptoms. If nothing else, this book definitely lets you do that. It really cleared up a lot of misconceptions I had.

Here's a link to Amazon (it's less than $14 there) where there's more info on it: Mayo Clinic: A Guide to Pregnancy
