Well, if he's not around when I test, and if I can prevent myself from just blurting it out, I think it would be cute to do something cutsie... I am so bad about not telling him everything right away though, so I don't know if I could actually do anything and pull it off!

No matter what I planned, this is probably what would happen:

I would take the test, see PREGNANT, stagger from disbelief, and then shrieking and screaming, jumping up and down, and hootin' and hollerin', I would scream "I'm pregnant! It's positive! You're going to be a daddy!! I'm going to be a mommy! We're having a baby!! Holy crap!! Wahoo Wahoo"... or some variation of those words....

I'd completely planned to hold it all in until a few weeks had gone by because I didn't want the miscarriage thing to bring him down AGAIN...but tonight he said, "I can't wait to raise our baby."

Hmph. Now I have to tell him. I posted in TTC about the sadness of telling him before. I still think that it would be nice IF I get a BFP before Christmas to wrap it. We agreed to get the other something very, very small, only if we saw it and it just jumped out at us. I'd say that's a jumper.

I SO WANT A BFP FOR XMAS!!!!! I would hang an extra stocking with the name "Baby' on it. And for the grand parents I would take a digital HPT and wrap it for them for xmas. my mom would be estatic. She was just diagnosed with breast cancer and she has been so down. Tomorrow she will get some answers as far as when is surgery and what the tx is.

I love all these ideas. Hubby and I tried for 2 yrs 5 mos with this baby. Im almost 18 weeks preggy now. I squealed in delight and he ran into the bathroom. He said waht's going on i slipped something into his pocket and he thought i was playing so he reached in and grabbed out the HPT. You should have seen his eyes light up. He hugged me and then praised his sperm on their good job lol (it was his low sperm that had held us up all this time, so he had to compliment them for finally gettign the job done) I took 5 tests because i jsut couldn't believe it. One was a digital and I kept it to give to my mom, wrapped up as a b-day present, but the pregnant sign didnt stay. So i gave her a regular one instead. I wish the EPT certainty digital one taht actually read pregnant woudl have stayed forever but they fade after a few hours then it was blank. Just popping in from the may DDC to say hi. I wish i had known you all when i TTC for 2 yrs. It was heart wrenching and i felt that nobody understood. Anyway, Im pregnant now and very happy. I jsut wanted to congratulate supermommy on her miracle baby. Im sooooo happy for you sweetie. I also wanted to let you know how i told Dh he was going to be a daddy again. -- --------------Jamie ----(waterflowers) mommy to Donovan age 4 1/2 expecting miracle#2 May 5th2006
