Help!!!

I need to get bloodwork done but i'm not sure when...

My dr. said to get it done a week after I ovulate. However i don't know when i ovulate

The ultrasound tech told me to get it done a week after my LH surge. So which should i do? What ones sounds right?

Also I had an LH surge a week ago tomorrow but it got darker the next day. Should i go off the day it started to get darker?

I called my DR. office today but no one got back to me

If i am getting it done a week after my surge then i would go in tomorrow. So i kinda need to know asap!!

I would try the doctor one more time and also call the people who are doing it. Usually you O after the end of your surge so if a week from the darkest point would be tomorrow they may not want you in until Friday. Since the wrong day could throw your results I'd start nagging both and be safe rather than sorry. Good luck!

I would harass the doctor's office. They need to give you guidance.

I hope they call you back so you can get your bloodwork done at the right time!

Jamie, what are they checking? If it's progesterone, they want to check it between 7 and 10 DPO. If you don't go in exactly a week after O, you'll be fine. Your LH surge should come about 24-48 hours before you O. That should help you determine when you Od.

They are doing a Luteal Panel. So yes they are checking progesterone.

So then i O'ed Thur. or Friday. Should i wait to go?

Usually you O 12-36 hours after your last positive OPK so I would try to time it based on that. If that would put it on Saturday though and you can't get the work done Saturday I would go Friday. Good luck!

Hey girl! I would make the appointment for Friday or Monday...either day you should be fine...just ask your doctor which they would rather. See if you can get them to help you out at all...Good Luck!

Thanks ladies!! I went in and did it this morning. I hadn't heard back from my DR. so i would rather have been safe then sorry. If i neede to go back in at the end of the week i would have.
My DR. called me tonight and said today was fine

So now i am just waiting to see how it went
