We have no plans We're usually at Cape Cod for the 4th, but this year we put off our trip out there until Labor Day so we can help my sister and her family with the new baby. After the 4th, we have to go help out with a running race my FIL directs each year. I hate going since it's in the back woods of WI, but it's the last year he's doing it, so we feel obligated to help.
I'm looking at getting a hotel in Chicago shortly after the 4th. I don't want to pay the prices around the 4th.

I think this year will be our first with Bailey seeing fireworks. She was still too young last year. We're going to find a place to park a blanket or lawn chairs and watch the fireworks from afar. We figured that there would be less "boom" from a little ways away.
I'm sure we'll BBQ as well - I think its required!

I'm not sure. I've still got to see if I can convince one of my co-workers to work 4th of July for me (it's my turn to work but he usually likes to work holidays).
We'll probably just watch fireworks.

DH is working, so I'll probably be sitting here by myself. A coworker/friend wants us to come to her house for fireworks, etc, but I hate going to parties without my DH. Yet, I go to places by myself all the time because of his job and work schedule. So, I don't know yet. I do know I have to dope the dogs up with benadryl because they are terrified of fire works.

We haven't made any plans yet. We might have a catfish fry at our friends house. It depends on whether they have had their baby or not. Or we might go camping for the week. Either way we will be buying a lot of fireworks.

Oh man! What AREN'T we doing! It seems like we have a million things to do on the 4th! We have a party at DH's Aunt's house (his mom's side) with a bunch of out of town relatives, we have a BBQ at DH's Cousin's house (his dad's side) where we all walk down to the park as a huge group to watch the big fireworks. On top of that, we have a great fireworks show in our town over the lake and our friends mentioned something about going out on their boat to watch it. I honestly don't know what we are going to try to fit in!

Right now our plans are for DH to do his SA since he'll have the day off and the hospital lab is open, and to watch the local fireworks from our apartment. We can sit in the gazebo out front to watch and not have to go anywhere. It's so nice!

I'm not really sure what our plans are yet. We were talking about going camping, BBQing, family parties, etc. It's all up in the air right now.
