DH's cousin had her fourth child in 7.5 years yesterday. We went to see him this morning (I was with my MIL and she stopped in). He is beautiful. She tells the mom, "Well, you have to let me babysit some time. It is no fun because we have not had a baby in the house for a while and probably won't any time soon." Hello nutjob, I told you we were TTC and even that we were having to see a specialist. In fact, I told you that things did not look good when we went to the specialist. Thanks for rubbing it in and putting on one heck of a guilt trip (because seeing sombody with their fourth baby was not hard at all).

*passes Diane my beating stick also* there ya go, now you have one for each hand!

Seriously I don't get how people can say such insensitive things to those TTC. It hurts especially when it comes from close family.

Can I have a whack with the beating stick too?

I swear some people have diarrhea of the mouth - straight from the brain and out of mouth.

Diane - I'm so sorry that your MIL has no tact. I hope she is more sensitive to your situation in the future.
(((hugs)))

I'm sorry you had to go through that. It must have been tough!! Sometimes people just don't think before they open their mouths! Did you say anything to your MIL later?

thanks for the beating stick.
No I did not say anything back-- DH's gradma was also with us
I love the blinkie--so true

I just wanted to say that maybe I will prove her wrong this month. Even after hearing bad news, it is the first time I have had hope in a while. The HSG is good. I actually O'd on a rational CD and my boobs are tender, has happened once or twice with AF but is not a reg deal. Also RE said that he did not think that we should limit BD, which is good because with DH and I both not working for that week, we could have set a record.

I might test on the 31st. If I got a positive, I could wait until my anniversary on the eighth to tell DH.

I'm sorry that she would say something like that. People can be so cruel. Our cousins are expecting their third in four years this year. She has advanced MS and was told not to have anymore children under any circumstances because while she's better during pregnancy it makes her MS far, far worse after she gives birth. She can barely function as it is so I'm not sure why she is doing this. At the rate she's going her children won't have a mother. Another cousin had a baby a month or so ago and DH put her picture on the fridge as if I needed the daily reminder that his family is popping out babies left and right while we can't.

By the way, I love that blinkie. If they confirm infertility for us I am so using it!
