When you finally get your BFP, are you hoping for a boy or a girl? (Yes, I know, we all just want a healthy baby out of this, but in your daydreams, is it usually wearing pink or blue, LOL).
And do you want to find out the sex before the birth if possible?

I have always wanted to have a boy first- but some things would be more fun with a girl- especially the "princess ages" LOL.
I only recently have been thinking about whether I would want to know the sex before the birth, and I don't think I would want to know--- although DH says he wants to know....

If I ever get another BFP, I think I would like another boy.
I didn't want to know at first with my last baby, but then the suspense was killing me. I called the hospital that did the level-2 ultrasound, but they hadn't written the gender on my chart. I was told that because I had requested not to know, they didn't even record the info, just in case someone actually slipped up along the way and said something. (I guess that had happened before, and a mom who wanted to be surprised got really upset.) I found out at a later ultrasound.
I think knowing made it easier, because I had an outfit all picked out to bring him home with, and was all prepared.
The funny thing is, I know a couple people who were told the wrong sex from their ultrasounds! My former boss' daughter-in-law was told she was having a little girl. They had a baby shower with all girl things, with a pink sign with the girl's name they'd picked out. The baby turned out to be a boy!

I would really like a boy and I would want to find out ahead of time. I already have 3 girls but I will be happy with a healthy baby boy or girl.

Yeah, I would be so worried about it being wrong... The whole time I would just second guess myself... I also would like Kyle to have a special moment of announcing the babies sex...
I actually already have a couple outfits to chose from for the baby to come home in... one is this little white gown with a ducky on the front and I bought a little yellow ducky jacket for it.... Its unisex-- and adorable...
I have seen lots of unisex stuff, so I just want to be old-fashioned and be surprised...
I like white, yellow, green and red... and those are all good unisex colors, so it will be okay for me-
I love the ducks, frogs, and turtles that are on all the cute unisex clothing. =)

Well, *I* don't want to know, but DH really, really does. I've had strong feelings about the previous pregnancies, but of course, have never had the opportunity to know if I was right. I actually like to the unisex stuff, too--frogs, especially! (They're my favorite, so they will be forced on our poor children while they grow old enough to make their own decisions. Hehe.) I guess I just want to be surprised and don't want to risk the mistake of a tech. DH just thinks it will make things easier if he knows ahead of time. I don't know why--he says it's not about the "stuff". Hmmm...
I WOULD like to know if I'm having twins. (I could only hope!)

I insisted I didn't want to know either, at first. So, when the doctor was checking between the baby's legs during the ultrasound, he told DH and me not to look. But, DH looked anyway, even though I tried to put my hand up and block his view. Then he later told me, he THOUGHT he "saw something." That's when it started driving me nuts, and I had to find out.
There's plenty of unisex clothing for newborns. It's better not to buy past that age in advance anyway, because you never know how big they will be during each season, and they grow so fast.
When I found out I was having a boy, everyone in my family started buying boy things. Sadly, I never wound up using some of them. He was born in late summer, and some of the summer things people had bought were too big for a newborn. Some of the more wintry things they bought, he outgrew before it was cold enough for them. He was only 7 lbs., 15 oz., but he wound up being very tall and plump during the first 5 months of life. You never know what size baby you will have, once they're born.
Yellow and green are the best bets, and nothing past maybe size 6-9 months. That's safest.

In my daydreams, I always picture having a little boy, since I have two girls. Of course, I would take another princess, too, but I would love to have a son.
When/If I get my , I will definitely want to know the sex of the baby. I know the surprise is half of the fun, but I would want to be prepared as best as I can (as far as baby things).
 for everybody!

Its funny, cause I feel the same way you do... and DH thinks he'd rather know... oy...
ultimately though it will be up to me.

IF and thats a huge IF I get my BFP before time runs out we'll definitly find out. I already have 3 girls so I'd love a boy. I found out with 3 of the 4 kids I've had.
I need the time to get used to whatever I am going to have. I really needed that time with my last one as I was thinking boy till the doctor said sorry no another girl.

Both of us want it to be a surprise. Part of me wants to know, but I know I would be far happier to wait and find out at birth. We would, as you said, just like a healthy baby, but given the choice, I think we'd like a boy. Ideally we would like one of each, but DH is the last male in his family, so it would kind of be special to be able to keep the family name alive.
