Ok. here's my intro. I'm not good at just writing about me.. so bare with me

I was born on September 29th, 1986 in Waterbury CT.. to my mom, Melanie, and my dad, Gary.. I have 2 older sisters Melea and Mirjana (yes I got jipped on my name lol). We lived in Waterbury until I was 10 and then we moved to Cheshire, followed by Wethersfield, West Haven and then Niantic (that was throughout my life not one right after the other).. I participated in Karate throughout my childhood and obtained a black belt. I was also always a great student pretty much straight A's my whole life.. even in college. I had a pretty good childhood, we went to Cape Cod every year, I went to Camp every summer.. just a good time. When I was about 16 my parents divorced, I knew it was coming so I wasn't totally devastated. I lived with my mom but saw my dad often. Um.. my first niece was born July 20, 2004 she's a doll, I was there when she was born. haha funny story (well not really funny more like ironic) . I was actually REALLY sick in the delivery room, I ended up staying in the hospital for a week with a severe kidney infection, I was in longer than my sister who just gave birth. I graduated high school that same year and started college for criminal justice, about a semester shy of graduating I switched my major to Nursing and still have to finish my degree.

I met my husband in 2006, we met online.. we talked for awhile before finally meeting on July 8th. It was love at first sight. We went and saw fireworks and I took him to the beach after (only his second time ever). The next day we started dating and we've been pretty much inseparable since. We got engaged shortly after our first date and married on August 26th. only 6 weeks after we had met. but we knew we were meant for each other and we're still going strong. My husband is in the Navy.. we've moved a total of 4 times already in the not even 2 years we've been married. In May of 2007 we got orders to VA (where we are now). He went on a few underways that year (from June- December he was gone probably about 2/3 of that time).. um right now we're currently awaiting new orders to we hope Florida for A-School as my DH has to switch rates..

We started TTC in December 2007 once he got back from his underways and we knew he wouldn't be leaving for a long time for any more. He has a low sperm count so we knew it'd take a little longer, but we're going on Month 8 and it royally sucks. I have an appt this Wednesday to go over everything since in the past 4 months I've charted I've had 2 short LP's and 2 months where I didn't ovulate.

1. I got married at 19
2. I have a chocolate addiction.. seriously.. lol
3. I have 2 sisters, 3 nieces and 2 nephews
4. Blue and red are my favorite colors
5. I'm pretty environmentally friendly.. I can't wait to own a house so we can do a lot more
6. I plan on cloth diapering
7. I LOVE to read.. I read probably about 3 books a week
8. flip flops are the greatest invention ever... I have an insane amount of them
9. one day I'll be a CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthesiologist)
10. My husband is in the Navy.. he's my hero
11. I wear a 5.5 in shoes.. I actually have a pair thats only a 3.5.. it's sad
12. I've moved 9 times in my life already.
13. I grew up in the North but I'm definitely a southern girl
14. I LOVE my cowboy boots
15. I have 2 dogs.. a pembroke welsh corgi named Nikolaus and an elkhound/german shepherd named Nikita

17. I love to bake.. I can pretty much make anything

1. What is your favorite childhood memory?? Going to Cape Cod every year to our resort.. We had such a good time and I love it up there

2. What attribute of yours do you hope your baby gets? I hope my eyes and hair color.. DH has blue eyes too but mine are lighter and bluer (that make sense?) I'd also like them to get my hair color.. I love blonde hair blue eyed babies.. sooo cute[/b]

What did your family think when you married ?
(btw, I think its so cute, what a story to tell your children!) They were a little wary when we first told them, but we explained our reasoning.. basically why are we going to wait when we know we love each other and want to get married.. they came around.. lol.. and ty btw[/b]

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I really want to go to France.. I'm half French so that only makes sense right? lol

What is your favorite food? Your least favorite food? I LOVE eggplant.. the way my great-grandma makes it.. unfortunately she passed in late December.. but I have the recipe so I make it pretty often..... My least favorite food has got to be seafood.. the smell makes me sick.

What are you doing for the 4th? Really not sure yet.. lol.. We're torn between going to Busch Gardens and going to Yorktown for their big festival[/b]

What is the best TTC advice you have ever been given? to take it one month at a time and not to make sex a chore but keep it fun
