I wanted to bd every other day this cycle. So cd 10, 12, 14, & 16 (maybe 18). Till after I O'd. Well, he's already thwarted that plan! LOL We BD'd Sat which was cd 9 so I figured we could dtd today, but he wanted to yesterday too. Beyond that, he was up for a little something later on when we were trying to fall asleep. I was so surprised because usually he falls asleep in seconds! I was so tired though (took Tylenol PM) so I declined. (I also thought that might help him to gear up for another BD session tomorrow! LOL)
I'm just upset because after like 4-5 days in a row, he gets worn out. I don't want to wear him out before it's really important!! I can just seeing him crapping out on me the day I O or before. It'd just be my luck! And I don't want to keep turning him down because then he may not be in the mood when I need him! LOL

On a side note...5 days in a row...WOW!

Ever since we have been TTC #2 we have been BD'ing every other day before O.
Well this cycle we tried doing it everyday from CD12 until I got O confirmed. OMG, I'm exhausted!!! I know it was only 4 days in a row, but it take alot of of you!
DH is probably glad that I O'd, so I'll leave him alone. Well...at least for a few days.
I hope your DH doesn't wear out on you!

Actually, I'm starting to wonder if I might O early afterall. I had a ton of ewcm just before and some O pains the last couple of days. Also, underneath my arm pit has been tender and it usually gets that way before O. I'd learned that your lymph nodes can swell before O (googled it b/c I was concerned about this).
Hopefully I can get rid of this wicked headache that's been slowly creeping in all day

Before Clomid, I hated timing things for O time. It was really hard to cover all our bases for 2 to 3 weeks since I never knew when I'd O. We were pretty much on an every other day cycle this month. We both get worn out on an every day plan. Since I was sure I was Oing yesterday, we DTD twice. I was no help the second time. I was so not into it and couldn't stop laughing about something stupid. Once I start laughing it's all down hill and I can't stop myself. I was cracking up for about 5 minutes before I could finally get things under control and we could start again.
Hopefully you are Oing early and got the BDing in that you need. Good luck

It sounds like you already have a great jumpstart on the BDing! I hope that you can keep up the stamina and get back to your pre-decided schedule of BDing! Good Luck!

That's a lot of BDing! My DH always gets worn out early on too, and if he doesn't I do. I always have a fresh plan every month, and then we never end up following it b/c one of us is tired!!! I remember the days we used to never plan those kinds of things!!
One of my poor girlfriends just emailed me and said they BD'd 9 days in a row trying for baby #2 and they were both exhausted!! I told I had to give it up to them for doing it NINE days straight- wow- that is impressive!!! B)

Wow that is impressive!
I know what you mean though...I get tired out too but my determination to get pg!! always wins out. That's what keeps me going (sounds like I'm running a marathon or something! lol). I didn't think 4-5 days in a row was all that much. Unless some people fudge their FF charts, I see a lot of daily BDing!
Well, DH has to work tomorrow night & I know he'll come home & go to sleep before he goes to work, so I'm hoping we can BD tonight & then rest tomorrow & then BD again Thurs & Fri, if I don't O earlier.
I really wanted to stick to the every other day thing though. After what I saw from that urologist who suggested EOD b/c it gives even a healthy guy w/healthy swimmers time to replenish, that's been my goal.

I was proud of us the month we did 3 days in a row! Neither of us really likes doing it more than every other day so I feel your pain. I'm always afraid Dh is going to crap out on me.

I'm definitely beginning to suspect some padded up FF charts! Because I've seen an awful lot of BDing being recorded daily. Not for nothing, I've found myself wondering how they could BD that much without feeling a little sore.. Is it just me? hahahaha

We BD a lot! lol... something funny is that on our first cycle trying, we BD daily from day 6-16, then missed 17, which was the day before I O'd!!! grrr. We did dtd 2x on O day tho, to make up for it.
next cycle we dtd 10x in 9 days. (bfp)
The cycle after that same thing, 10x in 9 days. (bfp)
the next month we finally started using opk, thank G-d! We BD 4x in 3 days around +opk.
since then we have been on the break. so we've been avoiding around O.
I do get very sore dtd so much, but oh well... it'll be worth it to hold my baby in my arms!
preseed and opk help a lot for frequent BD for us.
good luck sticking to your plan!
