DH is no help

I have told him the last couple days that I REALLY REALLY want to POAS! What does he say? "Go for it!" Uggghhhh - no help dear! By my own calculations, I am 8 dpo. I am trying to hold off till Wednesday to test.....not sure I will make it.

Specially not with DH's help!

You can do it girl. PATIENCE DUST!

Here are realistic stats from FF about dpo and the results:

Average Day Past Ovulation (DPO) for the first positive pregnancy test: 13.6 DPO
Average DPO for the first "false" negative test result: 10.3 DPO
Percentage of pregnancy charts with a positive test at 10 DPO: 10%
Percentage of pregnancy charts which show negative results before a positive result: 17%
Average time between the expected period and the first positive pregnancy test: 0.5 days before the expected period.

I say wait too....I'm definately a POAS pusher and actually have a hard time not POAS myself, but last month I did it at 10 DPO, and got a BFN.....then it was awful cause I kept saying to myself that it was too early, and wanted to POAS again and again. I was totally heartbroken when AF showed. Good luck!!! I hope you have more will power than I did.

I know it's hard to be patient in times like these (especially when your DH is telling you to test!) But I would hate to see you get a BFN just because it's too early! Hang in there! I'm sure the time will fly by if you keep busy!
I also wanted to add that I'm jealous! My DH would tell me not to test until I was like 4 weeks late! LOL... Good thing I can convince him when I want to test!

Since my LPs have been only 10 days, I think I'm waiting to see if AF shows. I just can't stand another BFN! Best of luck to you, hope you can hold out!

You can wait!!!!! My DH is the same way...he is just as excited as I am! LOL. and EVERYTHING is a symptom to him...so he is driving me crazy! Good Luck when you do test...but try to wait a couple of more days!

Okay, okay. I will admit. I did POAS yesterday. I swear I saw a line but it was REALLY faint and it required tilting the test and squinting my eyes, so I am not counting it yet. I hope this is the month - I would really hate to be a witch to my OB next week!
