Spotting

I woke up this morning spotting. I'm pretty freaked out because I had some pretty horrible dreams last night and now this. I'm glad I have an ultrasound this morning, although, I'm not sure if it's going to bring good news or not. My DH is worried and is being negative, which I hate when he does that.

Then last night, he ripped my mirror off my car and this morning my brother just came over to pick up directions and he said that the mirror has to be replaced and it's like $100.

Uhm, not doable since we just spent 9 grand for the air conditioner that was installed yesterday and started leaking last night. The poor AC guy had to come out early this morning - like midnight and didn't leave until about 1:30 to fix it temporarily. It has something to do with the previous drain for the AC system, so he is just going to replace that later today.

So needless to say, I'm feeling like we aren't getting good news this morning.

Thanks for letting me vent here rather than my DDC.

Spotting this early on is quite common isnt it?

I'm sorry your DH isn't being negative. We'll send you some sunshine!!!

Thanks ladies. I was pretty bummed out this morning. My doctor said my cervix looks good. He started the transvaginal ultrasound and at first I didn't see anything and I was freaked out, but he saw the sac. He moved the wand and DH and I saw two other sac looking things about that size on the opposite side and were like what??? LOL - it was fluid in my uterine lining. I was like there is absolutely NO WAY and there wasn't...lol.

Anyhow, I go back next Thursday for the ultrasound to look for the heartbeat. He said we have a 50/50 chance of seeing it and that once we do my miscarriage rate goes down to 10%. I am measuring about a day or so shy of five weeks which I am, but he said that's completely okay since it is so close. Anyhow, here is Baby G's first picture.

I'll feel much better after seeing the heartbeat, but until then, I'm going to be on pins and needles.

I'm glad that everything looks good! I hope that you get to see the heartbeat on Thursday! That will be amazing, I'm sure!!!

I'll be thinking about you. That's a great pic. Hopefully you'll be able to get the heartbeat next Thursday. I think it's still a little early for it to show up then, but I'm sure it'll be reassuring.

Yeah he said that there is a 50/50 chance. I really hope we are on the positive side of that. I appreciate y'alls thoughts and support.

An odd thought, but could the fluid pockets be causing the spotting? Or are you checking your cervix because that can cause it as well. So can DTD while pregnant. Let us know how the next ultrasound goes!

No, I'm not checking my cervix because I never got the hang of that..lol. I am wondering if it's the fluid pockets, but I don't know. I guess we'll see what has changed next week.

I had spotting early in my first pregnancy and she was born a week late so don't worry too much. You don't want to stress your little one! He/She may be born cranky!
