Thumbs down from me... I don't like the idea of proping a baby up before they're ready, which is mainly what these seats do.

Thumbs up, my little nephew loves his, and my sister uses it to feed him in, and sits him on the bathroom floor whilst she showers. It only recommends 10 minutes until they can sit unaided though. We bought one for our spanish nephew as he is 10 months old and still cant sit by himself. And my SIL says he likes it too.

Thumbs down. My nephew had one and I just didn't like seeing him being propped up like that when he wasn't ready .. Maybe they work alright for another kid, but I doubt I would use it.

Thumbs up, but only after the kid's muscles and bones can support sitting up assisted without doing harm.

thumbs up, but only for after baby can sit assisted. I know lots of babies like sitting up once they have head control but it takes them a lot longer to gain the control of their abdominal and back muscles in order to sit. the bumbo seat allows baby to do that and the parents to still have their hands free to feed baby

Thumbs down!
I loved my bouncer and fed AJ in that to begin with and then my MIL bought a high chair for us that reclined, so I had him slightly reclined in that while he ate until he could sit up himself. I can't see why I would need ANOTHER thing for baby to sit in that doesn't give a lot of upper back support. Just not my cup of tea.

Thumbs down, I think babies should sit when their little bodies are ready to, not before.

Thumbs sideways....I will probably use one once my baby starts to sit on his/her own. A friend of mine has a 6 month old and he is able to sit on his own for short periods of time and she uses one and he loves it.

Thumbs sideways. I agree with the comments about sitting before the baby is ready, but I would only use it after they could sit up with no problems.
I've also heard news stories of these tipping over. Some people put them on a tabletop and the babies have fallen I wouldn't use this unless I was rightthere.
