DHC had an hour long show tonight about people who were almost full-term-pregnant and didn't know it (for various reasons...like menopausal women, women who hadn't had a period in over a decade due to health reasons, etc) Amazing stuff. Can you imagine having no idea and then going into labor? WOW. How could they not feel the baby moving, etc?

They just answered my question! If the placenta is in the front (forward part of belly) rather than the back than you don't feel the kicking as well.

I had an anterior placenta (in the front) and the kicks were not as strong, but I STILL felt kicks. I have always been amazed when people say they didn't know they were pregnant. I understand the missing period thing, but there are SO many other things that happen to your body during pregnancy that its crazy in my mind for people to not know something was up.

I watched it... - the re-enactments of the births kinda made me laugh. I did however love the quizzes at the commercial breaks. How elementary for those of us TTC for so long, but I bet th general public had no clue on most of them!

I believe the name of the show was "I didn't know I was Pregnant" or something very close to that! I hope that helps a bit!
