Hi Ladies!

I thought I should introduce myself. I have been lurking here a little on and off, in anticipation of joining. I am happy to see some familiar faces from TTCAL!

Anyways, my name is Melanie (30) and dh is Thad (30). We have a wonderful 10 year old son, Branden.

My story...after being on BCP for 9 years, we started TTC#2 last September and got pregnant the first month we tried. That ended in a missed m/c and a D&C in November, 2 days before Thanksgiving. We waited 1 cycle and have been trying ever since (now in my 7th cycle trying).

I did go to talk to my doctor a couple weeks ago, so today I had an HSG (all clear!) and dh has to go in sometime soon for a SA. My doctor said that as long as those tests are fine (which he expected them to be, since we have conceived 2 babies together), then he will start me on a couple months of Clomid. Finally, if that still doesn't work, the plan is to go for IUI. He said he definitely expects that I should be pregnant within a year of my loss. I REALLY hopes he's right!!

I look forward to getting to know you ladies! It will be nice to get to know people who understand the frustrations that TTC can bring!

Hi Melanie and Welcome! I'm Cris married to Shawn and we've been ttc#1 since August 2007. I'm so sorry for your loss I hope that the clomid does the trick and helps you get that BFP really soon! They say that you're really fertile the first 3 months after your HSG, so hopefully that will help too!
