Long Time Lurker

Hello everyone! I've been a very long time lurker and have recently started posting more. I'd like to introduce myself and be a part of the group. My name is Gwen (29) and DH Joe (29). We have been TTC #1 since Sept 07. For several months, we just "stopped preventing" then came opk tests then I tracked af the recently in the last 3 months started tracking temps. I am now using TCOYF chart online and LOVE it! I also bought CBEFM and used it for the first time last month. We are going on 11 months now of TTC #1 and it's so frustrating at many time...ok all of the time! This forum has been so helpful - even if I am just reading. To know that others feel the same way and I"m not alone it sooooo helpful. Sometimes I just feel like no one understands me at all! DH made an appointment in August to get a SA and I really don't know what to expect. We both want this so bad (as I sure everyone does)! I just hate getting so depressed every month when af shows her ugly face. I guess I just wanted to say hi and thanks for being there even if you didn't even know you were being there for me!

Also, I love all these tickers (I think that's what you guys call them) and siggies. How do I post my chart and get all this fancy stuff?? I'm kinda computer stupid these days!!!

Hi Gwen

I am glad you decided to come out of lurkdom

and introduce yourself! I just recently moved over here, but this seems like a great group of women! I look forward to getting to know you!

As far as the rest of your question (tickers, siggies, etc), hopefully someone else can help because I desperately need to leave for work

Welcome to the group!
I'm pretty computer illiterate as well. I don't use TCOYF charts anymore (although I do love the book and did TCOYF charting on paper for about 7 years, until I discovered fertility friend online about 5 months ago), so I don't know how to get a ticker established from there. There are some people here who helped me figure out my ticker from FF, so hopefully they know about TCOYF as well!

I'm Becky (30), wife to Steve (33) and momma to Bailey (2). We have been TTC #2 since Nov. 2007.

I happened to notice that you are from Kansas City! I'm in Overland Park, where are you?

As for your siggie - you can request one on the Siggies R Us board. There are lots of talented ladies there, all they need are some pictures and what you want it to say, and any color preferences. Here is a link to the board:

As for a link to your chart, all you have to do is bring up your chart and copy the URL. Then go to your JM control panel and select Edit Signature (this is also what you'll do to add your siggie). There are icons that you can use to format your Siggie. On the second row, the 5th button has a green arrow. Use this to insert the link. If you're using internet explorer, it might have a popup error message, just click the "temporary allow" button. You'll paste the link in the pop up window. Then you can put Click Here to View My Chart. If you would rather have your actual ticker show, you'll need to have the URL of the ticker. Let me know if that is what you want, that is a little different formatting.

Thanks so much for the wonderful hello's!!! And especially thanks for the help with the siggies and such! I hope to have some time to work on that in the next few days! Becky~I'm north of the river in KCMO. How funny you are just like 30 minutes away! And by the way...I LOVE the name Bailey!!! Well, hopefully I won't need to be in the forum long (no offense ladies) I really hope to get my BFP very very soon!!! As I'm sure we all do! Thanks again for the warm welcome!

I'm Cris married to Shawn and we've been trying for number 1 since August 2007... We are rapidly approaching 1 year!
