Anyone have low progesterone? What has your doctor done for you? Did you try anything at home that was over the counter or herbal?

When I saw mine for my yearly check up in April he didn't want to test my progesterone yet. I have now had 2 different charting instructors tell me that my charts lead them to believe I might have low progesterone (because of the DAYS before AF arrives of spotting). He didn't want to do any tests or anything until 1 year of TTC. DH talked me out of calling my OB now. I never had this spotting before AF till after I had AJ.

I had low progesterone. The one time it was checked, it was 2 a week after O. My LP was always really short and I got AF a day or two after that test. Because I also Od super late, my doc put me on Clomid. It was my choice if I did Clomid or progesterone. I'm glad I went with the Clomid. It's forcing me to O weeks earlier than I used to and the first month on it, my progesterone was 15.8 the day it was checked. I'll be starting my third round of clomid this week. The first round started swinging things in the right direction and my second round was an ideal cycle. I'm hoping that means I'll be prego soon.

I have low progesterone - my base line w/o medicine is 10. They like it to be at least 12-15. My midwife put me on Femara 2.5mg and it increased my progesterone to 10.5 - so they increased it to 5mg. My last draw, at 5dpo, my progesterone was 23! So its working!

I do have progesterone cream, but haven't used it and hopefully won't need to.

I understand your frustration, and if were me, I would definitely call my doctor, at least to see what he says.

I looked back over all of your charts and you have what seems like too many days of spotting before AF arrives every month. And low progesterone definitely sounds like it could be the culprit.

I know your doctor said he won't do anything before 1 year of TTC...how long have you been TTC#2 after AJ??

We have been trying since January, but one month we couldn't because of traveling and stuff. So we are on our 7th cycle since starting to try, but it is actually 6 months of actual trying. And I never had it confirmed, but I think I had a miscarriage too.

I only suspected it because when I went in November for my annual, we'd only been TTC for 2 months so I didn't know much. I thought it was low because my 2ww temps weren't high enough. My ob gyn humored me & had it tested. She said it was fine, but I don't know what the level was. Stupidly, I never asked
