The time has come for me to move on. After 3 clomid cycles, almost 2 years TTC, a chemical pregnancy, surgery(for both me and DH), daily drug regimes, more ultrasounds, pelvic exams, and bloodwork than I can count...we're throwing the towel in. We've decided that we are done with the drugs, done with the scans, done with medical assistance on this level. We will be pursuing IVF in 2010 after we move back to the states and in the mean time are looking into adoption.
I will probably not be posting on this board anymore as I don't feel like I belong. I wish you all the best in your TTC journeys and hope that you get sticky BFP's very soon. If you want to keep in touch, I will still be on JM, so you can always PM me or find me on the charting board or WTTC(grads).

I can understand your frustrations with TTC for so long. Sorry it seems to not be working out.
I can also understand how frustrating it is to have to work around deployments and various other military obligations, AND my husband and I have been statiioned overseas before so it can be hard to deal with complex issues being so far away from the experts here in the states. Overseas military installations just aren't equipped for such things.
Good luck with your adoption plans. Are you planning on looking into adopting from the US or abroad?

I'm so sorry things haven't turned out the way you were hoping. You have been an amazing inspiration of courage and strength and persistance.
I wish you the best and you WILL have a child of your own - whether it be IVF or adoption and he or she will be very lucky to call you mom.
Feel free to lurk or stop by just to say hi.
(((hugs)))

I have been lurking alot lately as I am not sure where I belong. We have not been trying quite as long as you guys, but I am thinking that I might would forego the usual treatments, because (frankly) I have the worst luck ever. I have also begun looking into adoption. Feel free to PM me if you ever need to talk. I don't sign on every day any more because it is too hard for me, so if I do not reply right away--don't worry.

I will miss you and your advice on here Jen, you are one of the few girls who have been around since I first joined. I hope that whatever you and DH decide to do, that it works out and that you get your family. There will be very few Mommies as prepared and dedicated as you. I will follow/stalk you on the wttc board. I really hope that you get what you are seeking as you have been someone to admire through all your medical procedures, and more so as you are far away from your home and family. As I said, I will miss you.

I'm so sorry for everything you've been though. I hope someday you get the baby you so deserve.
