I am just curious if anyone on this board is using injectables of any kinds or knows anything about them? I am more than likely starting them next cycle and I have no idea what to expect. What kinds of SE are there? What injectables do you use? Etc....

Thanks so much in advance!

I used Follistim this cycle and really had no side effects. Except for some cramping and the day I O'd I was very uncomfortable with a little bloating and cramping. I also use Femara and before when we just did Femara I had more follies but they were never very big. The follistim helped mature them and I had 3 this cycle! They are really easy to do and don't hurt. Most go in your belly and the needles are so tiny that you barely feel anything. Good luck!

I've never done injectibles...but I would suggest visiting the TTC with Medical Assistance board. There are lots of ladies there who can help!

I do a similar protocol as April - 5mg Femara CD3-7 with Follistim 150ui CD8-9. I never seem to develop more than one follicle - last time was 21mm and this time was a questionable 30mm. It works...just sometimes too well! ;p Good luck!!!
