Thumbs up, I hate it when babies suck the satin edge of their blankets and it turns brown, yuck!!
I had to make one for my little kitten Ali, as she always ran off with my silky underwear (or anything with a label!!)

Thumbs up. When ds was a baby, he could not get enough of the tag on his blanket. He would sit and play with it forever. It was so cute. I will definitly be getting one of these when the next baby comes along.

Thumbs up! Bailey really liked hers...I made her one and put all different kinds of ribbons for different texture and shape.
Of course she liked the silk ones the best.
Sam - you crack me up! What is it with animals and silk??

Thumbs up, especially the ones with different textures, colors and patterns. It's amazing how much kids love the different feel of the fabrics.

Thumbs up. DS didn't have one, but I will definitely have one for the next baby!

In between. I can see where it would be good, but AJ never carried around a blanket. So depends on the child. But then I would probably get MIL to make it because the taggies are so expensive.

Thumbs up if the baby likes it. I'll have DH's Grandma make some up. It'll keep her busy (she's a great seamstress), keep expenses low for us and it'll make her feel like she's done something special for the baby!

Thumbs up, I like the taggie toys, more so than the blankets though. I think they are a good way to entertain your child while letting them explore new textures and what not!

Ooo...thumbs up!
Both my mom and my MIL are fairly good with a sewing machine. My MIL, when I was pg said she felt like she needed to be doing something or making something for the baby. Maybe this could be something she could make for baby.

LOVE IT!!!
One of my favorite baby toys..... I love things made of natural materials, and that can be handmade. With all the lead scares lately, cloth toys are really coming back.
Best thing about them: Babies like them as much as I do.
