Hello! I am new to the site and have never posted to a message board before, but thought I would introduce myself and say hi!

I am 39 YO and have been trying to conceive for over 6 months with no success. I have two boys, ages 11 and 13 and have recently decided to give it one last try. I divorced a few years ago and my current boyfriend and I really want to have a child together. He has no children and is approaching 40. We were pregnant in October, but had a MC in December and have been trying ever since. I am not sure if the first time was a fluke, because it seems to be taking forever to get PG again! I am sure I don't have to say it to anyone here, it is more than frustrating!

I have charted and checked every fluid, every month, to no avail. We have sex daily and still... nothing. I am not sure if it is stress related or physical. I am considering seeing a specialist soon as the clock is ticking and I am not getting any younger....

I am happy to have found a place to get more information about other women's efforts/frustrations so I don't feel alone. It seems everyone around me is either pregnant or having a baby.....

I'm Becky (30), married to Steve (33). Our daughter, Bailey, is 2. We have been TTC #2 since November 2007 and had a m/c in February at 5 weeks. I am on my 3rd cycle of 5mg Femara due to a progesterone defiency.

I would definately talk to a doctor. Since you are over 35 and have been TTC for over 6 months - they will be able to help you right away!

hello and welcome!

I am in a similar situation, conceiving #2 in Sep 07to have a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in November. It was so easy for us to conceive the first two times but we've had no luck since then. I recently visited my OB (a couple of weeks ago) and we have a plan in place if I'm not pregnant this month. I would definitely schedule an appointment ASAP!

I am Alicia (22) and my DH is Mike (22) we have been TTC for 13 months now, 14 cycles with no luck. We have done 3 rounds of Clomid and I just found out that I apparently ovulate on my own, which they didnt think I did. Next cycle however, we are more than likely moving on to injectables.

Just some quick advice. My RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) has told me that until you have a SA done on your SO you should really only have intercourse every other day just to make sure the little swimmers have time to replenish themselves.

Oh and I am also the co-host of this board so if you have any questions dont be afraid to ask. I hope you get that BFP very soon!
