Do you think this chart is right? This is the first month Iīve charted and can already see that I donīt O on CD 21 like the DR told me I probably would. I saw Alisaīs post and her question about a short LP made me think. Is it normal to have only 8 LP days on a 35 day cycle??. (I guess not ) but it does mean that the past 8 months of BDing have been a week out . Thanks for looking, and all the help to post the link!!, my ticker disappeared, but the chart is there, oh well!.

I would want more than one month of charting to say that you have an LP problem. Your LP shouldn't vary by much though, so you may have a short LP. 8 days isn't really long enough for an egg to implant and settle in before AF. Your doc shouldn't assume you O exactly 2 weeks prior to the start of AF with no evidence that you do or don't.

Just one month of charting won't give you a good picture. Also, I know for alot of ladies, tracking their cervical mucus is very helpful with determining your fertile days - especially if you have fairly flat temps.

I agree - your doctor can't assume your ovulation date. Charting will definately help, but they may need to check your progesterone level to see if you really are O'ing or not.

Thats what I thought, 8 days isnīt long enough. But then I thought that last month my cycle was almost 70 days. Before ttc I was ALWAYS 35 days, this is so annoying!.
I guess iīll keep charting and start CM monitoring. I actually like temping as it gives me a bit more control!
