Any thoughts on pre-seed?
Who uses it? Easy to apply? Messy? Unnecessary? Helpful? Anything at all?
Considering using it this month....

Yes I use it. We didn't use anything when we TTC the first 2 months with Bailey. First month we used it, we got pregnant. Of course...this time around that's not the case.

I use the internal stuff - but one tube is WAY too much. So I use one tube several times and just apply with my fingers instead of using the applicator. It's too expensive to waste!

I like it...I take meds for my allergies which makes things a little dryer "down there" then the average person...so it helps me alot.

I use it too, but didn't need it prior to taking Clomid. The Clomid has dried me out a bit. I agree that one tube is way too much. I also just used what I need instead of a whole tube at once. I think it's easy to use and it's not messy. Lots of people have expressed a decrease in sensation while using it. I haven't experienced that, but am not using much at a time.

I haven't used the internal stuff, but did order some of the lube. I think there were 10 packets. We used it last night as I've read that saliva and other lubes can kill sperm. Since we've been at this a year now, I don't want to take any chances. Oddly since I've been on Clomid, I have more CM than I have in years. It did the opposite for me.

But I did just see a new item at CVS. It was their store brand and it said sperm friendly lube. It wasn't that much I forget the amount but I'm certain it's less than pre-seed brand. Also, you don't have to wait for it to come in the mail.

Lisa-
Like you, I'm on CD 2 (sarcastic yay!). The new place I'm trying to order my OPK's from has included a couple of free samples so I'm going to try those out. I have seen the kind at CVS though. I have no idea how much pre-seed is, because these were free.
And as for waiting for them in the mail...I''ve got about 10 days before I'll need them, so no rush there I guess.
Thanks for everyones input. I'm guessing it has some sort of instructions on it on how to use it?

I love pre-seed and I use it every month during my fertile days. We are big advocates of lube anyway, b/c since I had Mase things just aren't quite the same in that department, so we like the extra "help". But since most lubes kill swimmers, I started buying it (I think it comes in a 6 pack) and using it during those times. I am different I guess b/c I like to use the whole tube- slippery is good but it's not too sticky, which is nice too!
In fact, I need to order some more if I end up not being pregnant. I would definitely try it out! I bet you'll like it!

On the Pre-seed website you can see if a local retailer carries it. In more populated areas there are stores that have Preseed - so you don't have to worry about shipping costs.

I've enjoyed reading your posts. If I don't get a BFP this cycle, I think I'm going to try it. I've also been a little dryer since having Molly. Thanks for the great info...it sounds like everyone gives it a thumbs up!

I've never tried it, but I've been wanting to. I just posted in the main TTC board with a link to a free sample of it. It's on the site mysavings.com I ordered the free sample because I wanted to try it first, before I purchased some. lol

We use it, I like it. It makes it seem like there is TONS of EWCM and that just feels better to me.

I've used it for a couple cycles. I don't like to use a whole tube though. I tried to just squirt some of it up there but it's kinda hard because you can't tell how much is going in there!

I figure it might help because I don't see a lot of CM around ovulation. TMI, there is plenty of arousal fluid though (which doesn't acutally help with the sperm I don't think), so I can't use too much of the Preseed.

We had used pre see for about 2 months then stopped using it. I still have a few applicators left over...we may use those this month lol. Calvin didn't really notice a difference besides I was a lot "slipperier" than usual. It is very messy too. Don't use the entire applicator, I did that on mistake my first month and it was very messy. On the sheets..On me...on him...LOL. It helped though with the dryness of course..Sorry if this is TMI but it just went right in there...if that makes any sense to you!! lol

I buy the kind in packets, so I can control the amount I use. I like it very much.

I have tried it a few times in the past, but have yet to get the BFP. It does help when things are "dry". I also take allergy meds and stopped this month for the week prior to ovulation. I did notice an increase in CM this month and didn't use the preseed. Hopefully, I won't need to keep trying again next month!
