We had a full weekend. Had dinner with my sister and her BF Friday, then went to Narnia with them and some other people. On Saturday, DH and I went to Yellowstone for the day (BEAUTIFUL!), then had dinner with my sister, her BF, and some friends. Yesterday, had lunch with my sister, a friend, then went to one of the hot springs with them and my sister's BF. I was sick all weekend (still am), but had a great time!!! I'll share some Yellowstone pics later...

I was acting!!!!!! DH and I were involved in our church's Christmas play - it was actually a series of sketches slightly based on the 12 Days of Christmas. I was in three and DH was in five (the problem of being one of only a few guys involved). It was a lot of fun - a lot of comedy and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

I was sick too so Saturday I laid around all day reading YA fiction and sleeping. I did however manage to break out the christmas candles and such so at least our living room looks a little Christmas-y. Sunday I was shopping for a new outfit for our Christmas parties--couldn't find anything I liked though. Then did grocery shopping and rode the recumbant bike. Oh, and played with the dog a lot.

I was in training on Sat and Sun. I am training to become a crisis line volunteer. As you can see I will answer the phone and speak to people who are in crisis. I figured that I have spare time so why not volunteer? Plus it seems to make the weeks in the 2WW go by faster!

Mmmm...makes me think of "Double Doozies", the 2 fresh-baked cookies with LOTS of frosting between!
Now I want lunch...so I can have dessert. (I don't even like sweets that much!)

Like I said, I don't even like sweets, but that's really getting to me!!! Great American Cookie Company, I think, sells them. Fresh-baked, soft cookies, sweet vanilla frosting in the middle. YUM! I make them for us sometimes. Chocolate chip, M&M, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, or MONSTER cookies with cream cheese frosting in the middle.
*sigh* I can't believe that this is actually making me want to make them RIGHT NOW.
And I keep typing "fresh-backed" instead of BAKED.
Either way...tasty.
