Hey guys,

I was just curious what you guys thought about doing a Mother of the Month nomination for every month? Just to recognize our members that are always supportive and active on this board? We could probably get a blinky for the winner to put in their siggy also.

What other ideas for the board do you have as far as games, activities and what not? Anything you have seen done on other boards that you want done here?

Are there any stickys that we dont have that you would like?

Becky and I would love to hear any suggestions you might have!!

I hope I don't get flogged for this, but I personally don't get the MOTM stuff. There are some moms here, but not everyone is a mom yet. I don't get voting people who aren't moms into the MOTM poll.

I think Becky and you are doing a great job. There aren't too many people on this board, so it's going to be a little slower. I like the QOTD and Thumbs up Thumbs down threads.

We will definately keep going with QOTD and that kind of stuff....just trying to keep the board fun....

Oh and also I think the point of the MOTM thing is for future "mothers" also. You could also view it as member of the month.....so yeah either way....

I love Thumbs Up/Thumbs down/ QOTD/Member of the week. I think MOTM would be fine too! I really prefer this board over TTC#1 because everyone KNOWS how I feel KWIM? I think the trivia question today was cool, but it could be cooler if it were related to TTC/Fertility/DTD, or stuff like that!

I can Definately do TTC/Fertility type trivia questions - as long as everyone promises not to look up the answers on their own!

Other ideas are: photo contests, scavenger hunts, on-going game threads, etc.

Becky you crack me up. I promise I won't Google every trivia question.

I think the games and photo contest etc are fun. They help us get to know each other. Maybe we should start one of the never ending threads where everyone can post about random stuff. They usually die out after a while, but they're amusing to read.

I love the scavenger hunt idea and the photo contest idea....anyone have a theme idea for a photo contest?

I think everyone has some great ideas! I would be into anything pretty much!
I will promise to do my best not to google answers to trivia questions either... it will be a test in patience for me! Which I could totally use! LOL

For contests/photo contests, how about best way to surprise DH with BFP? Or the best {fake} preggo belly (you can't use real ones!!) Or best wedding pic, DH's funniest face, there's all sorts of cute/fun things {I'm very creative too bad my job doesn't use it}.

I think if we got a little more personal here, and more "life beyond TTC" without going nuts posts would be really nice-- I'd like to get to know you all better!!
