I haven't gone too crazy buying HPTs... I'd guess in the 12 months we've been trying I've probably only spent like $20. I use Internet cheapies, so that helps cut the costs! I won't buy a FRER or Digital until I have a VERY good reason to!

I have probably spent over $100 on the expensive ones, now I buy internet cheapies too...saves a lot of money. If I get a postive with a cheapie then I will spend more $$ to see another BFP

I just don't test. Saves me a lot of money. I've spent like $4 or 5 on dollar store cheap ones and have only bought 2 FRER. I'm too cheap to test when I know it's going to be negative.

I'd say close to 100 b/c I was a POAS addict with brand name tests/OPKs. I've never used an IC, but now I do buy HCG tests at Dollar Tree and LH tests at Big Lots for $.80

in the 8 months I've been ttc I've spent: 240$ or more on HPT
total spent on ttc: 1160$
on HPT: 240$ (60$digis, 160$brand name/generics, 20$IC)
OPK: 30$
Other: 40$ (bbt, instead, preseed)
Gas to see RE: 300$
Medical expenses: 480$
accupuncture: 70$
holy crap! That's the first time I've really added it up. Good gosh..... and only more to come! Thank Goodness for my insurance, or that number would be tripled at least.

I use ICs for my OPKs and most of my HPTs, but last cycle I was so sure I was PG that I bought FRER and 3 dollar store tests. BFN! :-( Oh well. I've got pre-seed too but we've only used it once.

DH brings them home from the laboratory, so I test as often as I like. Now I have a stash, I donīt feel the same need to poas!!, its like chocolate, if you have some in the cupboard, its just not as tempting.

I spend about $20-$40 a month. I'm a POAS-aholic, so I'll buy cheap ones but then I think I need to buy the expensive ones because I think the cheap ones won't show a BFP. Over the last 9 months I've prolly spent close to $200.00 or so.

Since I have used mostly $ store or Equate tests, I would say $50. That isn't including OPK's though.

I've been looking at the AM i pregnant board's BFP pics, and I've noticed that the girls that used a normal hpt and a digital at the same time, the frer is barely showing the line, but the digital says pregnant clear as day. I think I assumed the digital would be harder to pick up on the hcg, but if there is any hcg there, the digital is easier to read, than squint at the strip. I think i'm gonna switch to digi. BUT I just vowed not to buy any more tests until I'm 2 weeks late!!! i'm going BROKE!!

We've spent at least $150 on HPT. I keep going to dollar stores in my area looking for cheapies because my friend told me they were just as good but I can't seem to find any.
We've spent $110 on estrogen pills and progensterone from the fs so far and that was just one cycle! Next cycle we're doing clomid and IUI so that'll be a bunch of $$$ too. You don't realize how expensive it is to try to get pg until you actually have to do it, do you?!
