Great question!!

I'm not sure about the outside...I do like brick. Inside would have a huge kitchen with a fireplace. A game / rec room. Several bathrooms. A master suite with walk in closets and a jacuzzi bath. The shower would be the cool waterfall kind.
I'd want a big play room for Bailey and #2. A big back yard for lots of playing.

Oh...and a maid! The house would come with a maid!!

When I was in high school I saw this house being built on PBS: http://www.architecturalhouseplans.com/home_plans/24 and I fell in love with it. It still looks exactly like I would picture my dream house. Not too big, not too small. Beautiful!

DH and I have fights about what our perfect home would be! LOL I think a more modern house with tons of rooms and tons of open space lots of windows and a porch. He wants an old colonial house on lots of land.... As you can see we have some different tastes! Lol

I dream of A HOUSE that WE OWN.

Seriously though, I'd like a brick house with a decent back yard, a fireplace, a pool.. You know... All that "Barbie" stuff!

I own what I would consider my dream house. I wouldn't want anything bigger. If I had a maid that would really take care of my stuff then it'd be perfect. We have 4 bedrooms upstairs and 1 in the basement. 2 full baths, 1 half bath and a quarter bath. It's bricked all away around on the first floor. We have a fire place and a beautiful back yard with city land between us and the neighbors behind us. The land has a stream that usually dry and trees on it. In the summer when the trees have leaves, we can't see the houses behind us. We also love our neighbors!

5-6 bedroom. 3-4 bathroom, 2 car garage with a game room. Large laundry room IN my house rather than the garage.

We have the same problem Cris, although I think we are both starting to compromise. We are more than likely going to start building our own house in the next year, we just have to get the right spot picked out.

I want a 3-4 bedroom, 2 bath, possibly 1 1/2 bath, decent sized kitchen with an island and/or a breakfast bar. I also want a game/rec room, a formal dining, and living room, and a laundry room....oh and an office since I will be working from home. I prefer the very open floor plans so things flow better from room to room. I also love log homes and/or brick homes. I HAVE to HAVE a large fenced backyard since I am in the business of breeding and showing shelties. Basically its going to cost us LOTS of money! haha
